CNN got more than they bargained for when asking conservative commentator Mary Katharine Ham to comment on a tweet sent out by Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez [D-NY]Over the weekend
Twitter was full of accusations against Ocasio-Cortez for traveling maskless in Florida crowds, especially after repeatedly bashing the red states while New York state is subject to vaccine and mask mandates. After being called out on her hypocrisy, Ocasio-Cortez childishly accused her Republican critics of being “sexually frustrated” they couldn’t date her:
It’s starting to get old ignoring the very obvious, strange, and deranged sexual frustrations that underpin the Republican fixation on me, women,& LGBT+ people in general.
These people clearly need therapy, won’t do it, and use politics as their outlet instead. It’s really weird
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) December 31, 2021
Neue Day co-host Brianna Keilar touted the Democrat bashing Republicans as “creepy weirdos” without pointing out why she was being roasted: “ ‘Creepy weirdos.’ That is how congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is describing Republicans who are attacking her for taking a New Years trip to Florida with her boyfriend,” she stated before asking Ham to weigh in.
EXPOSED – AOC still lounging in Florida in large groups and wearing maskless. The Drag Queens bar in Miami was the scene.

However, the conservative commentator harshly mocked her for saying that her looks make her a target for right-leaning people instead of her hypocrisy.
Ham tried to convince AOC that he was based on pop culture references and film clips.
First, this is how I woke up. I believe I am the one who can stop people from being sexually frustrated just by their existence. You see it all the time. And I’m glad to be able to discuss this important issue with you. America’s superhot has been a neglected issue for a long time. AOC initiated a national dialogue about the topic. It is something we all have dealt with, you know. AOC refers to Brianna and John. You can create an organization. Just the other day, I noticed the IRS keeps sending me notices even though I’ve never expressed any interest in them. It’s like, why are you so obsessed with me? You wake up one day and realize that there is more to life then being extremely, ridiculously beautiful. That was it. Now I am here. AOC was the one who did it, and she is now a congresswoman.
Ham argued that the true reason that the Democrat is being criticized was more serious.
“In this capacity, you must answer questions. This is why I am laughing at it. She scolded, “But to question the motives for every questioner that you come across I don’t believe behooves”
Ham pointed out that while women will naturally be seen in the public eye by “creeps,” it’s not a bad thing to blame “fair queries” on this.
“But, we must also answer fair questions. AOC can be asked a question: Is your Florida trip together dangerous for yourself or others? If not, then why not? It’s because if it isn’t, then it means that people have the freedom to decide about their risk profile and move forward in Covid.Ham was slammed.

CNN New Day
1/3/22
BRIANNA KEILAR: ‘Creepy weirdos.’ That is how congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is describing Republicans who are attacking her for taking a New Years trip to Florida with her boyfriend. She responded to one critic, saying quote, ‘if Republicans are mad, they can’t date me, they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend’s feet, ya creepy weirdos.’ Joining us now to discuss is CNN political commentator and conservative blogger, Mary Katharine Ham. Mary Katharaine – Happy New Year!
GOOD MORNING HAM
KELIAR: As we wondered, we thought, “How can we wish her happy new year?” Let’s talk to her about her feet and get up at a reasonable hour. We’re sure you do.
HAM: That’s okay.
KEILAR : How do you interpret all this?
MARY KATHARINE HAM: I was like this when I woke. I believe I am the one who can stop people from being sexually frustrated just by their existence. You see it all the time. And I’m glad to be able to discuss this important issue with you. America’s superhot population has been neglected for a long time. AOC initiated a nationwide conversation on this topic. We have all been there. AOC refers to Brianna and John. It’s possible to start an organisation or other thing. Just the other day, I noticed the IRS keeps sending me notices even though I’ve never expressed any interest in them. It’s like, why are you so obsessed with me? The day comes when you realize there’s more to life that being super, ridiculously beautiful. It was possible. Now I am here. AOC was the one who did it, and she is now a congresswoman.
As such, you must be able to answer questions. This is why I am laughing at it. However, I do not think it is wise to try and question every person you encounter. You can ask her questions about Florida, but she won’t be able to answer them. And by the way, because I am talking about it, there are many weirdos who get crazy in my comments section right now. Hi, how’s it going? You won’t be able to date me. This is what it’s like to be a woman in public. Yes, there are some. We also need to be fair. Fair questions to AOC include, “Hey, your Florida trip together with your partner is it dangerous for yourself and others?” If not, then why not? It’s because if it is, then it means that people have the freedom to decide about their risk profile and move forward with Covid.
JOHN BERMAN: Um, I don’t know what to say exactly right now. There is a Venn Diagram here, I’ll say that. Some creepy strangeos exist. There are creepy weirdos out there, but not all of them. Brianna was able to answer that question regarding sandals.
KEILAR
HAM: Look I’m a ‘no’ but I’m not judging. Um, I don’t think–The interesting thing is this took a turn toward the sexual after the sandals were mentioned. AOC stated that sandals are the reason for it. Looking back, I doubt that man sandals ever lead to any sexual thoughts except maybe for the one instance in “Gladiator”. That’s my position. I’m grateful for your question. I have never been asked that question before.
[laughter]
