I reported earlier how folks on the left couldn’t give up pushing NPR’s mask smear, even in the face of Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Justice Gorsuch issuing a joint statement saying there was no discord between them and that she had never asked him to wear a mask. Evidently, he refused to take off a mask in her place.
The liberal media types then dissected the language spoken by Gorsuch and Sotomayor to defend their maniac attacks on Gorsuch.
But… the report was that Roberts asked him to wear a mask, not Sotomayor. So… I don’t get this statement.
Are you referring to Team Gorsuch doing another fake comma?

Then NPR issued a statement saying they stood by Nina Totenberg’s reporting.
Totenberg did not report Justice Sotomayor asking Justice Gorsuch to put on a mask. She also didn’t say that anybody admonished her. She did report that Chief Justice Roberts; ‘in some form asked the other justices to mask up’ – and Gorsuch was the only one who did not.

Chief Justice John Roberts now has a statement that just cuts NPR at the legs and says he never asked anyone for a mask. So this was false.
MORE JUST IN on Maskgate, this time from the Chief Justice: “I did not request Justice Gorsuch or any other Justice to wear a mask on the bench.”

This lies are being promoted by liberal media outlets that have not yet stopped trying. It is so bad that the Supreme Court has three justices to disprove it. They have to think it’s very wrong to step out of their normal reticence to comment by putting out those statements.
But the liberal media types are still throwing tantrums over it, even after Roberts’s dispositive statement. The liberals don’t care it isn’t true, because they so want it to be true to feed their narrative. They see this as a post-reality universe.
