Senator Tim Scott Shames Biden For Using Jim Crow Language In Describing Voting Rules Bill – Opinion

It’s not a Voting All Rights bill, it’s a Voting Rules bill. Let’s start there, because the idea that there are still non-felon citizens (and even that is changing) fighting for their right to vote is ridiculous. The Democrat party knows this, they’re just clinging to whatever rhetoric they think will work at this point. Given that Martin Luther King’s great-granddaughter was out there recently lamenting that she had fewer civil rights at 13 than she did when she was born, it certainly does seem effective in some ignorant circles.

Democrats have no other playbook to use than the one they’ve been using for the last 75 years. Don’t hesitate to pull out the race card when in doubt. The 2020 victory of the Democrat Complex, with its cohorts from Big Tech and mainstream media, secured Biden an undeserved victory. However, it ignited a new era in voter fraud awareness among their rivals. Now that the GOP is finally actively taking steps to guarantee election integrity moving forward, Democrats are in panic mode. They’ve been so accustomed to an inactive GOP that they never imagined individual states would begin taking real, quantifiable steps to protect their elections from anything like the chaos we saw in 2020. A simple request to require legal identification prior to casting a vote sends the Democrat Party bourgeoisie into panic. They know that requiring ID makes voting less corrupt. They have no defense but the race card.

The old Democrat strategy seems to be increasingly obsolete in an era of greater diversity across the country and where the Republican Party has taken the reins as party for the working classes.

Enter Senator Tim Scott, who used his time to rightly shame President Biden’s rhetoric surrounding the Voting Rules bill they are trying to jam through Congress right now. Scott does everything perfectly, even his righteous anger. This is especially sad to be compared. EverythingModern American life is very different from the Jim Crow era. This makes sense considering that there are still people who suffered as a result of those events. Joe Biden’s race-pimping should be shamed by the fact that he stands on the United States Senate floor as a senator. If Gina Carano can loose her Hollywood career simply for mentioning how neighbors turned against neighbors during the Holocaust, we sure as hell shouldn’t be looking the other way while the President invokes a horrific period in American history for brownie points. Here is Scott’s view on that:

Listening to the President talk about stopping the “unacceptable” behavior he described, I am reminded of the significance of the words Jim Crow 2.0As I was feeling frustrated and annoyed, my heart sank. When I hear the various references to Jim Crow I wonder how many Americans actually know what Jim Crow is. It is a blessing to know that these days are gone. [My grandfather] was born in 1921…he could tell the stories of the Jim Crow South in the Jim Crow era; an era where in order for a black person to vote, you had to pass a literacy test. If you were able to read, the test would be more than a simple one. This would test your knowledge of who was the governor 20 years ago when you were about to vote. The threat of being executed or even lynched would be part of it.

Scott said that Black voters are at risk of being intimidated, beaten and even fired. The Georgia voting law was brought up by Scott. His disingenuous description of it by progressive activists is what prompted him, after Joe Biden’s initially hysterical response to it, to go back and read it. He saw nothing that was even remotely similar to Jim Crow. Scott blasted the President and his allies for suggesting the Georgia voting law makes it illegal to get water while you’re standing in line. This is patently absurd and is clearly stated in the law’s text.

I also broke down the GA and Texas election integrity bills on my podcast (which can be found wherever you search for podcasts). To make sure everyone was aware of the contents, I went through each line one-by-one. Let me tell you. wasn’t in both – Jim Crow.

This claim is now false. It is not illegal to get water while waiting in line…the only time it’s illegal to bring someone water in line is if you are campaigning for someone…if you are an election worker or a relative, of course you can bring a person water.

South Carolina senator continued to criticize the President for irresponsible speech that minimizes the horrors of Jim Crow for those who experienced them.

So [if that was]It is nothing like the Jim Crow Era of the past.

Scott is correct. Every Democrat who uses this argument, including the President, should be embarrassed. They are cursing on those who suffered greatly for these progressive loons’ right to speak out in front of everyone and use Black pain as a cover for their lies.
