It’s rare that I am able to laugh at climate change humor anymore. That is unless it’s It’s really absurd. This is one example of such times.
We reported that a volcano undersea near Tonga, Pacific Island, caused an earthquake of 7.4 magnitude, which triggered a tsunami alert across the whole west coast. The advisory was lifted after three- to four foot waves, some flooding, and then it was removed.
Wow! The Pacific nation of Tonga was rocked by an underwater volcano on Friday. Followed by a shockwave, tsunami & volcanic ash turning day into night. pic.twitter.com/U6krsjwoDR

That’s okay. “CBS Mornings” co-host Nate Burleson was You can find it here. Burleson used his expertise to study climate change and undersea volcanic eruptions to reach the conclusion that only a world-renowned expert such as Mr. Burleson could. What was the cause of Tonga’s volcanic eruption and tsunamis?
Climate change. No, really.
Here’s Burleson, along with the equally-brilliant Gayle King, and some other guy whose name escapes me, but I don’t care:
King: Tonga can be reached by telephone Slowly starting to return since the eruption — but,It could take several weeks before the internet is restored. Three of it’s smaller islands suffered serious damage from tsunami waves that reached almost It is fifty feet tall [she said, with faux, dramatic effect].
Then, gentlemen and ladies, Nate Burleson’s infinite wisdom:
There is much to be said about climate change. [King dutifully responds: “Yep.”] These stories are a harsh reality of what we’re going through. We have to take responsibility for our actions. They are also more prevalent.
What’s-his-name enthusiastically says “Yes” — before continuing the ridiculous fearmongering about complete and utter nonsense.
And if you’re on the West coast, the clock is ticking on the big one. The people are afraid.
Memo, dudes: Even on its best day, “climate change” does not and cannot cause volcanic eruptions. Then there was the tsunami. I’m pretty sure [sarc]This was due to an undersea volcanic eruption. You can call it “a” hunch.

CBS’s Nate Burleson links the 50-foot tsunami that swept Tonga and an underwater volcano eruption to climate change. We have to make these stories a reality because they are more common. pic.twitter.com/Wn7ilAdeRo

The problem with nutty nonsense like this isn’t so much the loons who blather it, but rather the low-information people who watch these shows religiously, every day, and believe without question the nutty crap they hear spewed — completely devoid of facts.
And then there’s the left. NeverAbout facts.
