Black Lives Matter is an uncontrollable fireball that seems to be burning everywhere.
No one, apparently not even the most motivated, has taken the leadership reins since the departure of Patrisse, the co-founder, and ex-leader.
The following are the Washington Examiner:
No one appears to have been in charge at Black Lives Matter for months. The address it lists on tax forms is wrong, and the charity’s two board members won’t say who controls its $60 million bankroll, a Washington Examiner investigation has found.
BLM’s shocking lack of transparency surrounding its finances and operations raises major legal and ethical red flags, multiple charity experts told the Washington Examiner.
Cullors quit BLM in May 2021 and left the agency in the care of two close activists. It seems she’s too busy moving between her 3.2m worth of real estate assets, and enjoying the luxury lifestyle. Not being in charge.
BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors appointed two activists to serve as the group’s senior directors following her resignation in May amid scrutiny over her personal finances. Both men quietly stated in September that the reason they didn’t accept the positions was because of disagreements with BLM. The pair told the Washington Examiner they don’t know who now leads the nation’s most influential social justice organization.
Seriously? The lights had been turned on since May 2021 but there has not been anyone home. This was confirmed in September 2021. However, nothing has been done about it. The store is being looked after by who? You know the BLM organization is still getting donations from clueless people who support their version of racial equity and justice—where is that money going? Who are the people being enrich?
Paul Kamenar (counsel for the conservative watchdog group, The National Legal and Policy Center) stated that an audit and investigation are necessary into Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation; the legal entity which represents the national BLM Movement.
“This is grossly irregular and improper for a nonprofit with $60 million in its coffers,” Kamenar said.
Unleaderful organization, with plenty of cash on hand.
There are many things that could go wrong.
The two remaining BLM board members, Shalomyah Bowers and Raymond Howard, did not return numerous requests for comment asking who has been in charge of BLM and its money since Cullors left the charity in May.
Bowers served as the treasurer for multiple activist organizations run by Cullors, including BLM PAC and a Los Angeles-based jail reform group that paid Cullors $20,000 a month and dropped nearly $26,000 for “meetings” at a luxury Malibu beach resort in 2019.
Bowers did not respond to a phone call on Monday.
Even BLM’s so-called allies and activists want no part of them now. Either they know that something is coming or they know it is over.
After George Floyd’s death and subsequent riots, major celebrities and corporations began to join BLM in May 2020. Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Lady Antebellum (now “Lady A”), Target, Walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Etsy, it’s too many to count. There were many posts on social media expressing solidarity with the victims and offering apologies for their racism.
Now that we pretty much know the real “cause” was to bilk people out of money over white guilt, where are these corporations and celebrity spokespeople now?
It was even more concerning to see the number of elected representatives who joined forces with this extortionist racket. Nancy Pelosi (House Speaker) protested. Pelosi also used Congress halls for a performance with Kente cloth, to show her solidarity with racial equality and justice.
When will they admit to being duped by violence, hysteria and hype into giving allegiance and support and money, most importantly, their financial security, to the grifter group?
Most likely when somebody is indicted and taken away in handcuffs. Don’t hold your breath on that happening.
