Two college-aged women are seen kissing in an attempt to “own” a “homophobic” supporter of President Donald Trump, in a viral video that’s been viewed more than 1 million times.
The clip was posted to Twitter on Friday by a woman named Crystal, LGBTQ Nation reported.
The incident took place on the University of California-San Diego campus, where a man wearing a pro-Trump shirt held up a sign that read: “Marriage traditional; 1 MAN & 1 WOMAN.”

Crystal, who according to her Twitter bio attends UCSD and is a member of the Delta Gamma sorority, appears to have kissed another woman in front of the Trump supporter in order to make a political statement.
“this dude was homophobic and a trump supporter so u know we had to do it to em,” she said in a tweet accompanying the video.
Some Twitter commenters suggested perhaps Crystal and her friend were playing right into the man’s hands:

This isn’t the first time sexuality has been wielded as a weapon against regressive ideological beliefs, such as those purportedly held by Trump supporters.
In May, two LGBT activists photo-bombed politician Matteo Salvini – who has been called Italy’s Donald Trump – by kissing each other while posing for a photo with the Italian Minister of the Interior.
Also in May, model Emily Ratajkowski protested an Alabama law that curtails abortion by sharing a nearly nude photo of herself to social media.
