Scarborough On ‘Minor Incursion’: Not Saying Biden Is Neville Chamberlain, But…

Joe Scarborough has a tip: To deny the fact that Joe Biden is being compared to Neville Chamberlain (or vice versa), don’t speak Biden’s name near Chamberlain’s.

Unfortunately, Scarborough has not heeded our warning. This Thursday, Morning JoeScarborough commented on Biden’s shambolic suggestion at Wednesday’s press conference, that Putin ordered a minor incursion of Ukraine. The US should not respond.

Scarborough made this non analogy analogy between Biden, British PM Neville “Peace for our Time”, Chamberlain’s appeasement of Hitler which helped to precipitate WWII.

“If you are so desperate for peace, if you are so desperate. Neville Chamberlain wanted peace. No comparisons are made. This is just my opinion.If you’re so determined for peace you won’t even consider war or aggressive countermeasures, It is important that they start sending the correct signals. They [Obama-Biden]2014: They sent wrong signals Now they’re sending out the wrong signals.

Scarborough stated that Ukraine and Putin aren’t the biggest threats. It is China’s Xi, Taiwan. “It would send the message to China: Hey guess what! It’s a small invasion of Taiwan. Everything is cool in Taiwan.

Scarborough, a fervent Biden fan, couldn’t resist trying his hand at defending Biden as well.

• Psaki and his associates. He had “cleaned up” Biden’s Ukraine gaffe. 
• Scarborough said Biden’s gaffe was not proof that he is mentally ill. Scarborough said that this was how Biden has been 40 years. This is not a praiseworthy statement! 
• Scarborough claimed that he is “a hypocrite” and said so in the final bit.People are getting tired of doing analysis on where they stand. [Biden]Is in January, of, or, you know 2022.”And Forecasting the future of President Trump’s politics based on his terrible poll numbers. This comes from the man who boasted about every Trump-related downturn, going back much farther than the less that 10 months which separates us from the midterms. 

Ed Luce was the one to blame for Biden sycophancy. Financial Times Scarborough even beat them. Luce was actually the one who claimed it.The clean-up of Biden’s “minor invasion” comment was a success.Biden was very open about the position he had on Putin and Ukraine during his press conference! If that is the case, why didn’t Psaki immediately run to Aisle 5 and clean up Biden’s mess with her crew?

Also Poor Biden was essentially painted by Luce as a “victim”. His supporters had unrealistic expectations. Biden is the man who ran on the promise of being “the most progressive President in History.”

WILLIE Geist: There are some aspects about Russia that caused some concern. Vladimir Putin was predicted to invade Ukraine by the president. But He said, “a minor invasion”, but he would not use military force to stop that.

MIKA BRZEZINSKI : WOW!

GEIST : Joe, at that time, the White House went into the situation and made a statement. The White House stated that if Russia makes a military move to the border, they will not respond. Joe Biden stated that it was a minor intrusion and that he would go in regardless. After the speech, the White House performed a small cleanup.

JOE SCARBOROUGH (Yes, that was an eerie moment). We’re going to  talk about this much, much more. It was, however, for me, a frightening moment. It is impossible to call a minor intrusion. Russia’s third invasion of Europe since 2008 would constitute a major incursion. It would be devastating.The Chinese would get a message that it was a minor invasion. It would send a message to the Chinese: Hey, guess what? No, it is not a minor invasion. Ed Luce quickly cleaned up the mess and stated that an invasion was an invasion. They will regret this and will face overwhelming resistance from us and allies.

ED LUCE : Yes, that would probably get rid of it. PositionThis was evident before the conference. After the press conference, it was evident. Und es war klar. During the conference, it was mostly evident. 

SCARBOROUGH: The mess was then cleaned upIt was clear, however that Joe Biden was not being truthful. By the way, those who say this are Joe Biden’s mental decline. What have you done for 40 years? Joe Biden is going to begin talking about 7 Eleven stores and which people are clean. It’s Joe Biden.

By the by, an NBC poll will be shown. At 44%It is getting tiresome to see people trying to analyze where they are in January 2022. It’s just so irrelevant.

SCARBOROUGH: Amen.

LUCE – We felt like we were in a state of shock. Biden’s final obituary was written by colleagues in the profession, which I consider an excellent example. But He is also an unfortunate victim to the unrealistic expectations of his supporters.

SCARBOROUGH – Xi looks at Ukraine. And They will be facing Xi and Taiwan with a far more complicated situation six months later if they become as weak as in 2014. Putin can’t be allowed to take Ukraine in any way. 

This does not concern Ukraine. This article is about China. This article is all about Russia. This article is about Taiwan. This is Iran.

Just saying that if peace is your only goal, you should not consider war or aggressive countermeasures. Putin should be told by them that if they go to Ukraine, no, not 100,000 soldiers. However, we will be sending 2,500 troops here and 2500 over there. This force will be the same as what killed 300 Russians in Syria. It’s not your intention to travel to Ukraine. What is the point of saying that? Do I consider myself a neoconservative? No. No. No. No. They must start to send the right signals. They have been sending the wrong signals since 2014. They send the same signals as they did in 2014.
