New York Enters Constitutional Crisis Territory After Schools Disobey Court Order on Mask Freedom – Opinion

New York: What’s the story? That’s currently the big question after reports of schools refusing entry to students without masks have emerged.

As RedState reported previously, a judge in New York struck down the state’s mask mandate, put in place by interim Gov. Kathy Hochul made it illegal for schools not to allow students to use a mask. The decision has not been made. appealed, there is no stay in effect and the governor’s order is currently not law.

Still, some schools are attempting to enforce the mask mandate anyway, in violation of the court’s decision. Rep. Elise Stefanik’s office is receiving calls on the matter.

Meanwhile, to show how absurd all this is, here’s Hochul recently posing with school children. While the children have to be covered up, the governor and all other adults are free to laugh without masks.

This is a horrible situation. This is horrific abuse of children by adults who are trying to protect themselves and others. Every single teacher in New York’s school system has had the chance to get vaccinated and boosted. They all have the right to choose an N95. However, teachers continue to place the responsibility on children, and they are still being muzzled even after a court ruling.

This is constitutional crisis territory. A judge has said the state’s mask-mandate is invalid. Dystopian for schools to attempt to implement their own dress code by abusing it is. A school could demand that a student wear a burka. Perhaps a school would require that a child wear a burka? Asinine and untrue to suggest that schools may violate court orders by backdooring all dress codes violations is ridiculous. It’s also scary just how far these left-wing officials are willing to go to keep their narrative rolling.

They have made masks their religion. They don’t care about the data showing they don’t workNow, despite a court ruling that their parents are legally entitled to choose, school officials from far left ignore this decision and seek loopholes to conceal the truth. It’s pathological at this point, and it’s long past time for parents to stand up and say enough is enough.

If you live in New York, that may mean your child doesn’t get to go to school right now, and I realize that’s a sacrifice, but until some number of parents decide to man the front lines, they are going to keep losing ground. There are many public schools across the nation that have exceeded their limits, so they need to be reined back in. This would encourage more abuses in the future, which is not fair to children. They also cannot withstand this kind of violence without further permanent harm. The abuse and illegitimate adherence to false religions of masques has got to stop.
