A Young Man Taken off the Transplant List Proves Covidians Don’t Care About Life, They Care About Compliance – Opinion

It has been a difficult journey for him. Milford hospital was his first stop. His lungs had become plugged with fluid from a hereditary problem. He is now at a very low percent of heart function due to this issue. The combination of low heart function and medication led to three blood clots which required urgent surgery at UMASS. He suffered severe injuries to his foot and left leg, as well as other complications. He is currently waiting in the hospital now to be transferred to Brigham & Women’s in Boston to under go surgery for his heart. The waiting period may be lengthy as hospitals are starting to close down operations.

It may never happen. Thanks to the transplant policy at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, DJ Ferguson was removed from the transplant list because he is refusing to take the COVID vaccine.

David Ferguson, his father spoke on behalf of him to Boston CBS 4 News:

He says the 31-year-old is fighting for his life at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and in desperate need of a heart transplant. “My son has gone to the edge of death to stick to his guns and he’s been pushed to the limit,” Ferguson said.

His family claims that he was the one who received a transplant, but that he did not receive the COVID-19 vaccination. According to hospital policy, however, his eligibility is now void. Ferguson claims that his son is refusing to receive the vaccine.

“It’s kind of against his basic principles, he doesn’t believe in it. It’s a policy they are enforcing and so because he won’t get the shot, they took him off the list of a heart transplant,” Ferguson said.

A policy probably thought up by some so-called “public health expert.” Look around. These supposed experts are responsible for how well things have been progressing in fighting this virus.

Inquisitive minds are eager to learn.

Because he won’t comply with rules regarding a vaccine, whose benefits have not been proven and are currently on unstable ground, this young man will be forced to give up his life.

What percentage of vaxxed, boosted individuals are still contracting COVID today?

It’s a good idea to ask a friend.

Yet, these are the people making decisions, as a son and young father’s life hangs in the balance. These arguments are utter nonsense and draconian. According to the Annals of Internal Medicine, Monday’s study found that vaccines are linked with an increased chance of developing myocarditis. Why would a young man needing a new set of eyes put his new heart at greater risk by getting this vaccine?

The hospital, however, has its own policies just as any other program for transplants. Must. Follow. The. Science. Program.

Brigham and Women’s released a statement saying, “And like many other transplant programs in the United States – the COVID-19 vaccine is one of several vaccines and lifestyle behaviors required for transplant candidates in the Mass General Brigham system in order to create both the best chance for a successful operation and also the patient’s survival after transplantation.”

“[L]ifestyle behaviors?” Seriously? Do you think a drug addict can get a heart-transplant sooner than someone who declines to receive a vaccine connected with heart disease in young men?

Arthur Caplan heads the NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s Medical Ethics Section. For this procedure, he says it is essential to be vaccinated. “Post any transplant, kidney, heart whatever, your immune system is shut off,” Caplan said. “The flu could kill you, a cold could kill you, COVID could kill you. The organs are scarce, we are not going to distribute them to someone who has a poor chance of living when others who are vaccinated have a better chance post-surgery of surviving.”

How is Dr. Caplan to know that his chance of living a normal life are slim if he doesn’t get the vaccine? Although COVID isn’t a death sentence it seems these so-called ethicsists would like to see it that way. Basically he’s saying if you don’t do what we say, you do not deserve life—certainly not a life on your terms.

Dr. Robert Malone spoke to the crowd at the “Defeat the Mandates” Rally on Sunday, and he said this:

“If there is risk, there must be CHOICE.

“This is the fundamental bedrock truth of modern bioethics. To deny this is to deny human dignity.”

But apparently Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dr. Arthur Caplan care little about the dignity or the life DJ Ferguson. It’s not important to the Covidians that everyone gets a chance at life, it’s important that you COMPLY with their ends.
