A perfect case study? George Floyd’s story.
As our story begins, Floyd’s four-year-old niece was shot on New Year’s Day as she slept in her bed in a Houston apartment. As NBC News reports, the police said several shots were fired in the apartment at 3 a.m. Saturday, when four people and two children were there. In addition, the department said, it has opened an internal investigation into its “delayed response” to the shooting. Hmm.

According to police, Arianna received a blow in the stomach. Arianna was driven by her mother and dad to a local hospital. She underwent surgery, and she is now in stable condition. A department spokesperson also stated that it does not have any suspect information or motive for the shooting. You may be wondering why. Perhaps no one’s talking? “Interesting.”
Arianna’s father Derrick Delane described the horrifying incident to NBC’s Houston affiliate:
My daughter leapt up to tell me she was hit. She jumped up and said she had been hit. She’s healing very fast. She was breathing normally when I last checked in on her. She was doing great.
As for the “delayed response,” Houston Police Chief Troy Finner said in a second statement he has opened an internal affairs investigation into the department’s handling of the shooting.

Let the “internal affairs investigation” begin. Don’t they always?
Concerned by the delay in responding to this incident, I initiated an Internal Affairs investigation.
Ask the city [to] continue to pray for this child’s full recovery and assist in providing information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect or suspects responsible.
So, let’s reflect, shall we?
While similar shootings tragically occur on a regular basis — see: Chicago’s bloody Southside — the fact that this four-year-old girl is George Floyd’s niece should be newsworthy, should it not?
No, it’s not! in the blatantly hypocritical minds of the left. As we’ve seen over and over again, Democrats’ embrace — or lack thereof — of science,It relates to the histrionic COVID narrative and has been an excellent example of liberal hypocrisy.
That same hypocrisy over the shooting of George Floyd’s niece is alive and well.
Floyd was killed after Derek Chavin, a Minneapolis police officer, knelt down on Floyd’s neck for 9 and 1/2 minutes. Chauvin was convicted of second-degree unintentional, third-degree murder and second-degree misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 22.5 years and 270 months in prison. Justice was served.
The problem for the whole “Black Lives Matter,” “white supremacy,” “systemic racism” narrative is that chances are [sarc]Arianna Delane’s little sister was NotA racist, white police officer shot him at 3:00 AM in an apparent drive-by shooting. Yep, that’s a problem. How can I risk my life on such an unstable limb? Relying on stats and facts which point to a totally different population.
The same facts and statistics apply to the bloody streets of Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot‘s Southside, which is why Nancy Pelosi, Chuckie Schumer, lunatic Maxine Waters, hapless Joe Biden, vacant Kamala Harris, racist Joy Reid, silly Don Lemon, and the entire lot of these hypocritical people remain full-metal crickets on the out-of-control pandemic of violent black-on-black crime.
