Both Sen. Joe Manchin (D–WV) as well as Sen. Kyrsten Silenza (D–AZ) have been targeted by Democrats and are now at great risk. They’ve both been harassed and put in danger because of this effort, yet the Democrats don’t seem to care. Even last week, Democrats continued to lash out at them for the filibuster. We saw this from Senator Elizabeth Warren (D–MA), Stephen Colbert, and Sen. Bernie Sanders(I-VT). When faced with this much effort, imagine how courageous it is to stick by your principles.
Democrats talk a lot about “fascists,” but it was fascinating to watch Sanders rail at them, asking why Manchin and Sinema couldn’t just throw the rules away to get what the party wants. It mystified him — he said — why they just couldn’t do that, which shows a window into how he and the other Democrats who want to toss aside the filibuster think. We don’t care about rules and the Senate as long as it is what we want.
However, the Democratic attempt to end the filibuster was defeated by a crushing defeat. Sinema and Manchin voted with Republicans in order to save it. Some leftists lost the fight, including Robert Reich, former Secretary of Labor under Clinton Administration.
Here’s @RBReichEncourage people to abuse Senators. No less than a female senator. Removed without any apology or acknowledgment. pic.twitter.com/VM9ORFTFQU

“Tonight, Republican senators lined up to shake Kyrsten Sinema’s hand,” Reich tweeted. “Democratic senators should have given her the backs of their hands.” He later deleted the tweet, but the internet is forever.
Yikes. Talking about advocating violence. Not to be mentioned against a female. It doesn’t matter if she refuses to follow their lead. This is where they are at now; this is what they’re stoking. This is so shameful, but the chances that the liberal media will cover this — or even care — are not likely. It would be a Republican tweeting this, and we are sure it will lead on all of the networks. We also know it will provide 24 hour analysis.
After seeing how Sinema has stood in the breach against all this assault, I do not doubt that in a throwdown with Reich, he wouldn’t stand a chance if he tried to give her a backhand.
On Twitter, people slammed Reich’s tweet.
.@RBReichJust suggested that Senator Sinema (a female) should be beaten because she did not agree with the Democrat’s attempt to federalize elections. pic.twitter.com/g77XN6WqGu

Hey @TwitterSupport, @RBReichYour platform encourages violence against women. Will you do anything to stop it? pic.twitter.com/9O9GtdNVTD

A lot of people are making a big deal out of it being a threat of violence against women, and that is valid, but it’s also a threat of political violence something Democrats have pretended to be against since January 6, 2021

The Democrats have pretended to be against promoting such things, but we’ve seen it before during the health care battle where Republicans were harassed. It was also evident from Rep. Maxine Wassers (D-CA), who encouraged violence against Trump officials. But now, they’re even eating their own.
Reich had previously denounced violence against women. Evidently, this applies only to the women of the left.
This issue [about]It is a culture that tolerates violence, violent language against women, with a whole structure of power to back it.” — @AOC
This is why I urge all men to take the time to reflect and consider how you can change that power structure. pic.twitter.com/B4iUvKP35A

In addition to encouraging violence, Reich also pushed the new Democratic narrative that not passing ‘voting rights’ would make elections illegitimate. Joe Biden pushed that same ‘attack on democracy’ yesterday during his press conference.
Let’s not forget: Sinema, Manchin, and Sinema refuse to end the filibuster. They are giving Republicans the license to cheat their way into victory in 2022, 2024 and all subsequent elections.

Now, I can point to Reich’s tweet against Sinema and say what a horrible man Reich is for having said this. But the problem is, it isn’t just Reich who’s pushing this kind of anger against Sinema. They should reflect upon the entire subject and examine their actions to end it. They won’t. They should.
