Trump Just Gave Sarah Palin His ‘Complete’ Endorsement for Congress in AK – Opinion

Sources who spoke with Fox News earlier on Sunday reported that former President Donald Trump was the one who encouraged the Republican vice presidential nominee for 2008 to go all in.

Donald Trump encouraged Sarah Palin to return to politics and run for Congress, according to a report.

John McCain’s 2008 presidential running-mate spoke with the one-term president before filing paperwork to run for Alaska’s vacant House seat, two sources told Fox News.

As my colleague Nick Arama reported on Saturday, Trump urged supporters at a Michigan rally to vote for what he called “American First Republicans.”

“The choice this November is very simple, if you want high crime, high prices, high taxes, high corruption, and high incompetence, vote for the radical Democrats. If you want a country that is strong, sovereign, safe, and secure, you must vote for America First Republicans.”

So, it’s not all that surprising that Trump has now made his support for the former Alaska governor official.

In a press release late Sunday evening, Trump gave his “complete” endorsement of Sarah Palin for her congressional race.

It said:

Sarah Palin, a wonderful patriot from Alaska, just announced her candidacy for Congress. This means that there will be an America First fighter on ballot to replace Don Young. Sarah supported me early in 2016 to shock many, and I won. Now, it’s my turn!

Sarah was a strong advocate for Alaskan values, Alaska energy and Alaska jobs. Her resistance to corruption, both in State Government and Fake Media, made her one of the most beloved Governors.

Sarah saved the McCain campaign from the ashes despite having to deal with some extremely evil, stupid and jealous campaign staffers. They were out to destroy her, but she didn’t let that happen.

Sarah Palin is smart, tough, and determined. I give Sarah Palin my complete and total endorsement and urge all Republicans to rally behind her campaign for America First!

It’ll be interesting to see how this endorsement turns out. Particularly if Donald Trump stumps in Alaska for Palin. Keep watching, as they say.
