Ruhle Smiles & Nods As Guest Compares Banning CRT Books to Nazi Germany

On Wednesday night’s The 11th HourStephanie Ruhle of MSNBC proved her hatred for conservatives trying to indoctrinate children sexually and ideologically. One of her guests was allowed to draw parallels between the efforts of these people and book burnings during Nazi Germany.

She slammed Ron DeSantis, the Florida Republican Governor, for preventing Critical Race Theory or LGBTQ Indoctrination being taught in schools. This she said was making it worse. Then she cried out to Roland Gutierrez, a Texas Democrat: “Texas also faces a teacher shortage. It’s not a surprise. Teachers are overworked and underpaid. Now they’re under attack. What can you do to get better teachers for Texas classrooms?

This led Gutierrez to wail that “70 percent of the teachers in Texas were actually thinking that they wouldn’t come back to teaching, over the next several years, because of a lot of the issues that are happening in the legislative process.”

Continuing to wail about Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Gutierrez said: “We had a weak, watered-down CRT bill, in a special session, because Abbott said we have to do something about CRT. Yet he won’t do anything about guns.”

“These aren’t problems,” he said referring to the teaching of the racist Critical Race Theory. “But this is how bad things begin. And it’s how bad things may have begun historically. This is the way it happened in Nazi Germany. They began to burn books, they began to tell people how to think.”

He claimed, “that is what’s happening with people like Rick DeSantis [sic], people like Greg Abbott.”

A responsible news anchor would’ve immediately stopped Gutierrez and told him the analogy he made was inappropriate and historically inaccurate.

Ruhle, however, is not responsible or smart nor a news anchor. Ruhle did not correct her, and she only smiled and nodded. Ruhle is a Democrat Party propagandist who will say anything that will further her party’s radical leftist agenda.

STEPHANIE ROHLE: Roland in Texas also faces a shortage of teachers. It’s not a surprise. Teachers are overworked and underpaid. Now they’re under attack. You want to attract more teachers into Texas schools. It’s crucial.

ROLAND GUTIERREZ, STATE SENATOR: That’s very difficult. Just recently, we saw that 70% of Texas teachers thought they would not return to teaching in the coming years due to a number of issues in Texas’ legislative process. Sometime I believe that DeSantis might be Abbott. Texas can do what Florida is doing. In a special session we had to pass a weak and watered down CRT bill because Abbott stated that it was necessary to address CRT. But he will not do anything on guns. It is likely that the CRT bill would be brought back this spring, as I believe. The CRT bill will be much more stringent. We must face the facts.

These aren’t necessarily problems. These are the beginnings of bad things. And it’s how bad things may have begun historically. This is the way it happened in Nazi Germany. Then they started to set fire to books and tell people what to do. That is what’s happening with people like Rick DeSantis [sic], people like Greg Abbott. It is time for people to wake up. It is clear that there is a problem. But it’s the fact that people need to wake up as to what’s happening with these two leaders in this country.

RUHLE. All right. So Greg Abbott is doing nothing to reduce gun violence. Texas doesn’t have enough teachers. Texas also has a huge power grid problem. These are just three of the issues that affect people in Texas. The governor does nothing. Is he really doing anything for Texas when he doesn’t do any of them? This is because he may be interested in the White House.
