The GOP Leadership in the House responded strongly to the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago. GOP leader Kevin McCarthy called out Attorney General Merrick Galrland and the Republicans of the Judiciary Committee for tearing into the FBI.
McCarthy’s statement was straight to the point.

McCarthy’s tweet came hours after former President Donald Trump emailed supporters announcing the FBI was raiding his home in Mar-a-Lago. Trump was not present at the resort when the raid took place. This also follows Garland’s recent statements that he is serious about investigating Trump in connection to the Riot at the Capitol, January 6, 2021.
The raid went public and Republican members on the House Judiciary Committee had harsh words about the FBI. It is not known if anyone at Trump’s White House or on the Judiciary Committee was aware of the raid.
You can only imagine how they would do it for an ex-President.

Each member of the committee had their own comments.
Hunter Biden goes free, while DOJ executes an attempt to kill the lives of his political rivals. It is not American and @Jim_Jordan led Judiciary Committee hearings in January can’t come soon enough!

The former heads of state and employees are prosecuted in the third world and banana republics. They are looking at us from below. The bottom is our race.

At the moment, Republicans are likely to take control of the House of Representatives at the November midterm election.
It appears that the raid was triggered by classified documents taken from the White House to Mar-a-Lago. National Archives worked for many months trying to retrieve those documents, but to no avail. The raid does not appear to have any relationship with the Jan.6 investigation that was conducted by both a separate House Committee and one from Justice Department.
