Nets Turn Backs on Loudoun Parents Meeting Major Step for School Board Recall

On Wednesday afternoon, Loudoun County parents, via the organization Fight for Schools, filed their petition to recall their corrupt, radical leftist school board after the members and the superintendent tried to cover up a rape in a girl’s bathroom by a “gender-fluid” boy wearing a skirt. The latest developments in the county have been widely reported. But, once again the national broadcast media ignored the petition during the evening newscasts.

While they refused to highlight what was going on in Loudoun County, ABC’s World News Tonight NBC Nightly Newsdiscussed the weather. Late last month, the networks didn’t careA series of sexual attacks on middle school students by one suspect led to a number of incidents. NBC wasn’t the only television network that mentioned the first rape case. TheIt is also possible to use yPolitically motivated, the parents were outraged.

NBC can claim the outrage wasn’t genuine all they wanted but clearly, it was as Fox News noted the parents were sticking it to the school board. “Angry parents confronting Loudoun County School Board members, putting them on notice during a nearly six-hour-long school board meeting,” reported congressional correspondent Aishah Hasnie on Special Report

Adding: “Parent group Fight for Schools announcing it’s filed a legal petition to recall school board chairwoman Brenda Sheridan and the remaining members for violating the parents’ First Amendment rights and for, quote, ‘a break down in trust.’”

 

 

This report featured multiple soundsbites from parents who were furious at the school board, calling them out and slamming it.

“This all happened at the first Loudoun County Public Schools Board meeting since Virginia voters handed Republican Glenn Youngkin a gubernatorial win,” Hasnie said. Hasnie also pointed out that the school board hired an outside firm to examine their conduct, but denied they attempted to hide the rapes.

That came as “Virginia’s attorney general-elect [Jason Miyares] says he plans to investigate how police and prosecutors handled the incident,” she reported.

Hasnie and Mike Emanuel, fill in anchors for the recall, remarked on Brenda Sheridan’s selfish attempt to hold onto power in face of the recall.

EMANUEL – I have a feeling that parents are serious about their children.

HASNIE : It’s not over, but it is not yet.

MIKE EMANUEL : The controversy over a Northern Virginia school district, as well as concerns about curriculum and student safety is causing new problems tonight. Aishah Hasnie (Congressional correspondent) says that there are many citizens who want to see the school board held responsible.

AISHAH HASIE: Loudoun County School Board members were confronted by angry parents, who put them on notice in a six-hour-long meeting. Parent group Fight for Schools announcing it’s filed a legal petition to recall school board chairwoman Brenda Sheridan and the remaining members for violating the parents’ First Amendment rights and for, quote, “a break down in trust.”

HANSIE: All this happened during the Loudoun County Public Schools Board’s first meeting since Virginia voters gave Republican Glenn Youngkin victory as gubernatorial candidate.

This comes just after the revelation that the district had hired an outside law firm to review student sexual misconduct in two schools. Initial reports claimed that a boy aged 15 wearing a skirt had raped a girl in the school’s bathroom. Later, he admitted that he knew about the incident. A cover-up was denied by the district.

Virginia’s attorney-general elect says he intends to examine how the police and prosecutors responded.

HASNIE: And, Mike, so the chairwoman there at this school board, Brenda Sheridan, did respond to this recall reportedly said, “look, my job is not always easy. It’s not always popular but I am going to, quote, “see this process through.” If this does go to trial a judge or jury then will decide if board members should be removed. There could be a special election. Mike?

EMANUEL – I have a feeling that parents are serious about their children.

HASNIE – This isn’t over yet.
