Early Thursday morning, the Washington Free Beacon’s Patrick Hauf published a story proving once and for all that despite their claims to the contrary, the Biden administration is indeed providing crack pipes in their safe-smoking kits which are being distributed throughout the country.
However, all three night news channels ignored this story despite the obvious proof provided by The Free Beacon. Photos were also shown in this article. Instead of covering this story, ABC’s World News Tonight, CBS Evening NewsPlease see the following: NBC Nightly NewsRather than covering the Biden administration, we will be focusing on weather reports and wildfires in our locality.
Washington Free Beacon originally reported the following: “the $30 million grant program…will provide funds to nonprofits and local governments to help make drug use safer for addicts. Included in the grant, which is overseen by the Department of Health and Human Services, are funds for ‘smoking kits/supplies.’”
Jen Psaki, when asked February whether the Free Beacon reports were true by her, denied them and took aim at Hauf for claiming they were. “[t]hey were never a part of the kit; it was inaccurate reporting and we wanted to put out information to make that clear.”
As expected, leftist media also followed their lead, working to deny the story or label it false.
Yet in Thursday’s report the Free Beacon wrote:
These findings result from Washington Free Beacon visits to five harm-reduction organizations and calls to over two dozen more In fact, every organization we visited—facilities in Boston, New York City, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Richmond, Va.—included crack pipes in the kits.
An analysis of nearly two dozen harm-reduction organizations revealed that although not all distribution safe smoking kits are available, most do offer crack pipes. A few organizations that do not include crack pipes in their kit say they would be willing but are unable.
Being a Democrat must feel good. The media will cover you even if you lie or get caught. Will the so-called fact checkers who all labeled the original Free Beacon story “false” retract their ratings and issue an apology? Don’t hold your breath.
