Thomas’s emergence in — and complete domination of — the pool put the NCAA’s transgender athlete policy in the spotlight like no other Female athletes get kicked in the face by a biological male has done to date. As Sports Illustrated reported, on Wednesday night the NCAA announced that it had changed its policy.
This policy changes are effective immediately.
The NCAA’s “new approach” to allowing transgender athletes to participate in women’s sports will follow a sport-by-sport model similarly adopted by the U.S. and International Olympic Committees.
John DeGioia is the Georgetown University President and Chair of the NCAA Board. He made this announcement in late Wednesday’s statement.
We will continue to support transgender student-athletes. NCAA member school conferences, college athletes, and other NCAA institutions must compete in an inclusive, fair and safe environment. They should be able to understand the policy and move on.
Clear? Oder Clear as mud
Consider the following:You are sane public’s skepticism of Anything from the left in respect to “inclusive,” “fair,” or “respective,” as we have seen innumerable times across a host of “woke” issues, please understand the skepticism, here. In other words, Mr. DeGoia, with all due respect, further ‘splain to us troglodytes in more detail, please.
As Forbes reported, the NCAA in 2011 adopted a policy to “ensure transgender student-athletes fair, respectful, and legal access to collegiate sports teams based on current medical and legal knowledge.” That policy is (now claimed by the NCAA) gone immediately. The national governing body for that sport will decide whether transgender athletes are allowed to participate.
Fox News reported that the NCAA’s new policy will mean swimming athletes are governed by USA Swimming policies. These policies follow the International Olympic Committee.
The IOC’s rule states (emphasis, mine):
Trans female athletes must demonstrate Minimum testosterone levels in serum must not exceed 10 nmol/L during the 12 months preceding competition. They should remain under this level throughout eligibility.To compete in any female event.
Assuming all parties agree with the maximum allowable testosterone level (which I’m confident they do not), is this a reasonable approach? A veritable “compromise”? It is not. In athletics, biological males do not have to compete against biological females.. Period.
As we reported in June of 2021, a survey found that one in four Americans actually believed it was “fair” to force females to compete against biological males in women’s sports. I’ll go out on a very safe limb and bet the farm that those same people fancy themselves as staunch supporters of “women’s rights,” as well. There is nothing contradictory or hypocritical about that.
Let’s get to the bottom of it:
The American left — AKA: “Party of Women’s Rights” — is the most hypocritical and disingenuous, dishonest, hypocritical dumpster fire of any group of people on the face of the earth.
And, as for “transgender” swimmer Lia Thomas? Is this the end of “her” insane line? Caitlyn Jenner is one of the few who thinks this. Should be.
I’ve said from the beginning, biological boys should not be playing in women’s sports. We need to protect women’s sports. This is obviously about Lia Thomas, who brought much attention to the issue. First, I admire her choice to live authentically. 100 percent.
This comes with some responsibility, and some integrity. I don’t know why she’s doing this.
There are two main reasons. It’s not good for the trans community. There are many issues that the trans community faces. We have a suicide rate that’s nine times higher than the general public.”

Jenner was correct, however, it seems that the NCAA was just passing the ball down to other teams to call the shots.
