Verizon is now completely in control of the woke-tank and has taken steps to silence conservative One America News Network. Here’s a sample headline from CNET:

Right. Believe me, I can sell you a Brooklyn bridge. It is the exact same Verizon as was featured in The Blaze as follows not quite a year ago:

“Big Tech is increasingly making it impossible for Republican politicians to communicate with their constituents. Leftists also seek to control email, text message, and other telecommunications infrastructure.
Telecom companies have already had an impact on national politics, with Verizon and AT&T briefly shutting down Trump’s campaign texts during the 2020 election, costing him millions of dollars. These conglomerates have a vertical integration, and the largest companies distribute Cable and Satellite TV. The left, as with many other concentrated corporate power, hopes that this will be used to suppress conservative views.
Last year Democratic Reps Anna Eshoo (D-CA) and Jerry McNerney (D-CA), both of whom sit on the House Commerce Committee which oversees the FCC, wrote to the largest cable and Satellite companies including DirecTV, Verizon, Comcast, and Cox, stating: ‘We are concerned about the role’ each distributor ‘plays in disseminating misinformation to millions of [its]Subscribers, we send you an email to ask for more information on what actions were taken [each distributor] is taking to address these issues.’
Fox News, Newsmax and One America News Network were specifically mentioned. The letter concluded by asking asked what if they took ‘actions against a channel for using your platform to disseminate any disinformation’ and ‘Are you planning to continue carrying Fox News, Newsmax, and OANN. . . Both now and after any contract renewal date. If so, why?’ The implied message was clear: if the distributors did not drop conservative networks, the Democrats would push for punitive regulation.”
It is important to remember that. This shutdown of One America News by Verizon is part and parcel of the American Left’s determination to use Big Tech to shut down not just conservative media but conservatives in general – and there is nothing new about it. ( AT&T’s Direct TV has also dropped OAN.)
Not to forget are the countless hours spent in trying to remove Rush Limbaugh from the air. (As here.) In today’s world there have been repeated efforts to intimidate the sponsors of Fox’s Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham into dropping the shows of those hosts, forcing them off the air.
Cable providers have repeatedly threatened to cancel the subscriptions of Newsmax, a conservative news channel.
Do you see a pattern? Do you remember CNN spreading the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. Is CNN being targeted in a campaign by these cable companies to drop it? No. This is what MSNBC headlined. Federalist?

Do you think there is a way to get MSNBC removed from air? Oder to shut down NBC, its parent?
Hardly.
This Verizon-shuts-off-OAN story is, make no mistake, about much more than Verizon and OAN. Americans are paying attention to a dangerously serious American Left action. This was using a far-left Big Tech firm, in this example, to cut off and shutdown conservative media.
It is certain that the same thing which happened to One America News in January will occur again for someone else. Someone conservative.
