Joe Biden Malfunctions During Buffalo Shooting Remarks, Then Attacks Tucker Carlson – Opinion

Joe Biden traveled to Buffalo, NY on Tuesday, to give a speech at an event to commemorate the Saturday mass shooting. The mad lunatic responsible for the horrific act shot and killed ten people.

However, instead of honoring victims and placing blame on the shooter’s evil heart, Democrats and other members of the mainstream media have taken to blaming political foes. That’s become a common theme anytime there’s a mass killing that fits the left’s narrative, i.e. Anything to do with white supremacy was brought up by Biden, who made no effort to discredit it in his comments on the tragedy.

The president spoke out strongly and called the shooting domestic terroristic. He did not hesitate to call it that.

There’s nothing wrong with that proclamation in a vacuum. Domestic terrorist acts are defined as violent acts that are motivated by ideologies and the need to exert political pressure. The Buffalo shooting fits that mold, and I’ve got no issue with the president saying it.

What bothers me more is the fact that Biden chooses which words to use based on how a mass casualty incident fits into his narrative. If it’s a white supremacist killing people, it’s labeled domestic terrorism immediately. If it’s a black supremacist killing people, as happened in Waukesha, WI, the president holds his tongue and doesn’t use that label. The recent New York subway gunman attack, where another openly racist black nationalist shot up a train vehicle was also an example. That incident was not deemed domestic terrorist by the president or his staff.

It’s egregious to see these kinds of tragedies being politicized in that way. As RedState reported previously, Biden didn’t even bother to go to Waukesha, citing logistical concerns. But, the Buffalo shooting coincided with a message Biden wanted to promote, so a trip was made within hours. If President Trump and others want to refer to mass killings perpetrated by bigots as domestic terror, that should be the standard. Picking and choosing which mass killings you respond to on the basis of politics is disrespecting those who were victims.

However, Biden’s speech wouldn’t be complete without displaying his cognitive decline.

It’s just painful to watch at this point. “Life, liberty…(brain freezes up)…our universal goods,” Biden says, while clearly not being able to read the massive font off his teleprompter. He can’t even remember the most famous line from the US Constitution and he’s the President of the United States. Biden continues to be a bit too generous to talk about God and his inherent rights while he’s just completed trying to get legislation passed to allow abortion to be legalized at the federal level up until birth.

But I digress. Biden was walking out of the event when he was asked about Tucker Carlson. He delivered another rambling answer, this time bringing up the so-called “replacement theory.”

What lucky staffer do you think got the job of trying to explain what “replacement theory” is to this bumbling old man? You can tell that he has no idea what he’s actually saying, but that’s never stopped him before.

These comments have no merits. “Replacement theory” is an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory, which is where the “Jews will not replace us” line white supremacists use comes from. Given that, “replacement theory” in context has nothing to do with illegal immigration, which is a legitimate political issue up for debate. Tucker Carlson has never actually promoted “replacement theory,” and his discussions of illegal immigration do not qualify.

Biden, news media and all of the left expand the definition to try to find another political weapon. It’s cynical and gross. It’s also hypocritical, in that Biden was quick to blame Carlson for this shooting, at least partially, while ignoring the inciteful rhetoric coming from his own side when left-leaning murders lash out.

It is all so disgusting to me. When the Waukesha massacre happened, Republicans didn’t rush out to say it was Joe Biden’s fault–despite the fact that the president has promoted ideas the killer subscribed to. Democrats simply have no shame, though, and it’s not surprising to see them attempt to link their political opponents to domestic terrorism as a last-ditch, cheap political ploy heading into the mid-terms.
