Did you remember when Joe Biden was our example of good decency? Contrary to the evil orange man, Biden would not lose his temper or launch an extreme attack on the press.
Well, that’s how the story went anyway. In reality, Biden has continuously shown himself to be a thin-skinned man-child who can’t take even the slightest hint of criticism. Today, that boiled over into an expletive-laden attack on Fox News’ Peter Doocy.
Gird your loins, because you are about to witness an event that would have CNN’s Jim Acosta in tears if it involved Donald Trump.

You can clearly see that Biden was thinking the mic had been taken off and trying to attack Doocy. It is hard to imagine that such an act could lead to a hot mic moment. After all, the reporters were still present in the room. But hey, that’s part of the senility, I guess. Not being able to control one’s emotions is a sure sign of age-related decline.
Past that, I’m struck by a few things here. The hypocrisy that we will witness in the mainstream media is about to escalate to epic proportions. You can expect MSNBC and CNN and other mainstream media outlets to ignore or even laugh at the attack on journalists after insisting for six years that any attacks on the press were akin to destroying constitutional rights and putting lives in danger. You almost certainly won’t see a united front as you have in defense of some liberal journalists in the past, demanding the White House apologize and adjust its behavior.
Second, let’s remember that Biden himself once said that he would fire “on the spot” anyone in his administration who disrespected someone else. Townhall posted that awkward clip to the president in response to the hot mic moment.

Lastly, can we just talk about how thin this guy’s skin is? Americans are concerned about inflation. Today’s stock market crash also made it difficult for middle-class retirees to save their money and invest in the right places. Doocy simply asked whether these facts are an issue for the government. Biden is such a wimp, though, that he’d rather cut the mic off (except he didn’t) and launch obscene attacks instead of addressing the issue at hand.
I’m not that old, but I’m old enough to have lived through more than a few presidencies, and Biden is, by far, the least capable, least prepared person for the job I’ve ever seen. Yeah, he’s good at not making mean tweets, likely because he can’t manipulate a phone by himself, but he’s wholly incapable in every other facet of the job. As Europe is on the verge of civil war, and as the economy falters, we are witnessing this unfold in real time. You can’t, in fact, just put a warm body in the White House and have everything work out. Leadership matters and Biden just doesn’t have it in him.
Anyway, we’ll have to see how this plays out over the next day. I’m sure Jen Psaki will get asked about it at tomorrow’s briefing. Will Biden apologize? Biden might apologize, but it is obvious how he feels. His total disregard for Americans and their problems is unfathomable. You are just an inconvenience to him. He displayed this by attacking Doocy.
