After a grueling six-month “investigation,” the anti-Trump House Select committee looking into the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol building is finally prepared to begin employing their findings in a desperate bid to help Democratic politicians perform better in the upcoming midterm elections. They will reveal the facts surrounding the incident over the coming months and remind us of how awful former President Donald Trump’s supporters.
The Grio reported that members of the panel “interviewed more than 300 witnesses, collected tens of thousands of documents and traveled around the country to talk to election officials who were pressured by Donald Trump.”
Democrats have launched a campaign against conservative candidates to make them look like they were part of the attack on Capitol Building. Trump will be their boogeyman in order to intimidate voters.

In the coming months, members of the panel will start to reveal their findings against the backdrop of the former president and his allies’ persistent efforts to whitewash the riots and reject suggestions that he helped instigate them. It is also up to the committee to convince the American people that the conclusions they have reached are credible and factual.
But the nine lawmakers — seven Democrats and two Republicans — are united in their commitment to tell the full story of Jan. 6, and they are planning televised hearings and reports that will bring their findings out into the open.
Their objective is “not only to show the severity of the riot but also to make a clear connection between the attack and Trump’s brazen pressure on the states and Congress to overturn Joe Biden’s legitimate election as president,” according to the news site.
So they’re going to use their findings as a political cudgel against the former president? This is shocking.
The report notes that even though most of the “fundamental facts” of the riot are already known, the committee is promising to unveil critical details gleaned from “texts, emails, and phone records from people close to Trump.”
It claims that it will reveal details regarding the funding of the rally which led to the riot as well as Trump’s actions when hostilities broke out. The author of The Grio’s report laments the fact that “[t]rue accountability may be fleeting” because “congressional investigations are not criminal cases,” while ignoring the fact that the 700+ individuals involved in the incident are facing jail time.
Anti-Trump panel members seem thrilled at the possibility of another attack on him and his support. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) said he thinks “The challenge that we face is that the attacks on our democracy are continuing – they didn’t come to an end on Jan. 6.”
Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), whose entire platform is dedicated to feeding her Trump Derangement Syndrome, said she believes the probe “is one of the single most important congressional investigations in history.”
Rep. Adam Kinzinger, a Republican from Illinois, praised the bipartisan nature and effectiveness of the investigation. He also bragged about the Orange Man’s plight, but left out that all members of the committee are anti-Trump, regardless of their party affiliation. “I think part of the reason we’ve gone so fast and have been so effective so far is because we’ve decided and we have the ability to do this as a nonpartisan investigation,” he said.
Jan. 6 is going to be the centerpiece of the Democrats’ overall strategy when it comes to keeping power in the House and Senate. That is what prompted the formation of the House Select Committee. They are unlikely to release any significant information in the coming months. Because it wasn’t really about the riot, it was all about weaponizing that incident.
One can’t blame the Democrats for resorting to exploiting the incident. They have no arguments to offer. There is no reason for the American people to support Democrats in Congress. There’s no Trump candidate on the ballot. No matter how much the left wants it to be believed, there aren’t any monsters that people can vote for. Additionally, the majority of left-leaning legislators have not passed meaningful legislation. President Joe Biden’s presidency up until this point has been an unmitigated disaster, and it does not appear this trend will turn around anytime in the near future.
The Democrats’ failure to perform has necessitated the continued use of the Jan. 6 riot as a cudgel to be wielded against Republicans. It’s a desperate move given that Americans are more concerned about kitchen table issues than they are about a bunch of thugs getting froggy at the Capitol building. At this stage, however, the Democrats don’t have any other options.
