Feminists Outraged After ‘GOT’ Creator Backs White Man for President: Jon Snow ‘Privilege’

“A COCK IS NOT A TRUE QUALIFICATION.”

George R.R. Martin on Saturday declared his support for Joe Biden’s presidential bid, triggering outrage from feminists and other liberals.

Martin – who authored and helped adapt the novels behind HBO’s “Game of Thrones” – wrote on his personal blog that he would “probably vote for any” of the Democratic candidates “over the blot upon the Oval Office. But he said Biden was his favorite.

“The main things I want in a nominee, however, are twofold: (1) someone who can beat Trump, and (2) someone who would actually be a good/ great president. Biden qualifies on both counts,” said Martin. “Also, the speech he gave announcing his run was kickass… and so, so true. I wish him well.”

Biden gave his first campaign speech on April 29 in Pittsburgh, deploying populist rhetoric notably similar to President Donald Trump’s.

For woke internet activists, Martin’s backing of a Democrat, and repeated trashing of Trump, was not enough.

In a post headlined “Maybe George R.R. Martin should finish his book instead of endorsing Joe Biden,” Jezebel staff writer Ester Wang accused Martin of sexism, and specifically, loving “cock.”

“And it turns out—unsurprisingly to those who have watched the bumbling Jon Snow continue to fall up on the latest season of Game of Thrones while eminently qualified women are painted as unfit for the Iron Throne—the dude is a fan of Joe Biden,” wrote the feminist blogger. “George, electability is a trap and A COCK IS NOT A TRUE QUALIFICATION.”

On Twitter, a member of the #Resistance bemoaned that Biden was using his #privilege to maintain a “white patriarchal society.”

A self-proclaimed male feminist complained that Martin was just another old, rich Biden supporter.

Meanwhile, conservatives came at Martin from different angles. One woman joked that Biden was the perfect choice for an author of “pornographic” books.

Partisans on both sides agreed that Martin should focus on finishing his “Song of Fire and Ice” series.

In other “Game of Thrones” political news, Miltos Yerolemou, who played Syrio Forel on the show, last week came out as a socialist.
