FLASHBACK: The View Decried Trump’s ‘Privileged’ COVID Treatments

It was Thursday announced that President Biden had COVID. This is the naked double-standard in liberal media treatment of a sick Republican president. This is a great example. The View gave Biden a “get well soon dude,” meanwhile they angrily denounced how then-President Trump was receiving “privileged treatment” “at taxpayer expense” and compared him to a dictator.

On October 5, 2020, the Monday after the news of Trump’s diagnosis broke, co-host Whoopi Goldberg opened the show by whining about his treatment. “He’s the head of the free world. “He’s the head of the free world.” whatever they’re giving him, they’re giving him to pump him up and make him look like he ain’t sick,”She laughed.

At the end, she began to rant about it.

He says that he now understands it. It is impossible to get it. You haven’t gone through it. They got you, whatever your circumstances were. Everyone else, however, in America does not get the opportunity to enjoy the same things you do. They are not allowed to enjoy the same things you do.

This caused people to lose their lives and continues to do so. It doesn’t really matter. It doesn’t really matter. Look at what I’m doing. Take a look at me, we aren’t you. Thanks to God.

Yet for Biden’s diagnosis, Goldberg responded with her best wishes. “I’m sure we all wish him a speedy recovery,” she said. “Well, get well soon, dude.”

But Goldberg wasn’t the only cast member on the show that day that didn’t appreciate the treatment Trump was receiving. After paying lip service and claiming her “heart skipped a beat” seeing Trump flown to the hospital, Ana Navarro RAGED (click “expand”):

Although I’m not sure how many Americans feel the same as I, I know that I felt much sympathy for Whoopi on Friday. When we saw him being airlifted to South Lawn by the helicopter, I felt a lot of sympathy. He is the President of the United States. No normal person wants someone to be hurt, die, or become very, very sick.

But as we went through the weekend and I saw more video of him mocking Hillary Clinton when she had pneumonia in 2016, of these super-spreader events that have been held in the White House where now so many we know have gotten infected, when we learn about the hubris of the Trump kids of that debate who got asked by Cleveland Clinic representatives to wear a mask and refused to do so, and when we saw him flaunt his privilege and go out in that motorcade –

“So, the treatment he’s getting at taxpayer expense is privileged treatment that the president of the United States receives, and for him to flaunt it by going out there like he’s queen Elizabeth waving from the motorcade and from the limousine,”She yelled. “And it angered me and angered me and angered me the more the weekend went by!”

Co-host Joy Behar also despised Trump’s drive-by wave to let people know he was doing okay. “I’m watching that car, the parade yesterday with him in the car, That was straight from a dictator’s handbook. What do you know? Show the dictator all over the place so America and the rest of the world can see that you still have faith in him and he’s still robust,” she sneered.

Behar, however, agreed on Thursday with Goldberg that they wanted Biden to make a quick recovery. And co-host Sara Haines quipped: “I wish I was isolating at the White House. Can you bring me a grilled cheese ASAP?” Meanwhile, co-host Sunny Hostin seemed to mock Trump’s trip to the hospital:

He’s now fully vaccinated and double-booted. This is quite a different situation to when the previous president suffered from COVID. He wasn’t fully vaccinated, and he was medevacked. The president should be doing fine.

And in a different part of their October episode, they were concerned then-Vice President Mike “typhoid” Pence would give COVID to Kamala Harris at a debate.

The lucrative sponsorships of Ensure and Swiffer make it possible to provide a double standard for the president’s health. The contact information for both of them is linked.

WHOOPI GLOBBERG: He is the leader of the free world. He’s basically getting whatever they can to make him feel better and look healthy. Joy, this seems like he is a different man. Is he able to grasp it?

JOY BEHAR? What do you know? Parade the dictator all over the place so America and the rest of the world can see that his life is still possible. However, as I looked at it, the majority of hostages do not drive the vehicle.

It’s not a hoax. He does get it. This coronavirus is not a hoax. This is what he discovered.

ANA NAVARRO : Whatopi? I don’t know how much Americans felt the same way as I did but on Friday I could tell you that I felt a lot more sympathy. When we saw that the helicopter was flying to lift him onto the South Lawn I felt a lot of sympathy. It didn’t matter if I liked him, but he is the President of the United States. No normal human would want to see another human suffer or become very, very sick.

Look, my best friend’s aunt – Her aunt Marian died of COVID. My husband’s son-in-law’s father 68-year-old died of COVID! I’m sorry! They couldn’t leave the hospital. Because there weren’t enough rooms, they were forced to lie in corridors. FaceTime was their last chance to see loved ones. Okay? They couldn’t even get plasma for many of them! It was a long process that took many days. It was impossible to get Remdesivir, as there were shortages in worst times. This happened in New York and Miami.

So, the treatment he’s getting at taxpayer expense is privileged treatment that the president of the United States receives, and for him to flaunt it by going out there like he’s queen Elizabeth waving from the motorcade and from the limousine, while so many sick people didn’t get the same chance or the same treatment, didn’t have ten doctors and a team attending to his beck and call, while he – His is just so insensitive!

It angered and angered and angered and angered and angered more as the weekend progressed!

GOLDBERG : I must say that the same thing. Kristen Urquiza has my sympathy. The young lady who was present at the Democratic Convention is her. She was very upset at you-know whereabouts because she stated that my father had only one pre-existing condition, which was to trust you-know, even though he was a worker in a factory. He was a supporter and believed her about the virus. They mocked her. They ridiculed her.

It’s possible he forgot — he claims he now has it. This is impossible. You haven’t gone through it. No matter how rich or poor you are, the people at USA got to you and gave you all you need. Everybody else in the United States of America doesn’t have the same opportunity as you. They are not allowed to enjoy the same things you do.

This caused people to lose their lives and continues to do so. It doesn’t really matter. It doesn’t really matter. Look at what I’m doing. Take a look at me, we aren’t you. Thanks to God.

We’ll be right back.
