“She just grabbed my dick. Is that sexual assault?”
A feminist protestor appeared to grope a supporter of President Donald Trump, and then bragged about getting away with “sexual assault” in a video posted to Twitter on Monday.
The Trump supporter was InfoWars reporter Owen Shroyer, who was conducting an interview at the Women’s March in Washington DC on Saturday. A camera crew for the right-wing outlet run by conspiracy theorist Alex Jones captured the incident.
In the video, the unidentified young woman approached Shroyer, who was decked out in Trump gear, and reached toward his crotch. She then announced that she was justified in groping him given the president’s alleged past sexual misconduct toward women.

“If our president can grab a woman by the pussy, I can grab you by the balls,” she said to cheers from the crowd.
Shroyer, looking surprised, said, “She just grabbed my dick. Is that sexual assault?”
“Yes,” the woman responded. “I did assault you.”
“Should you be arrested?” Shroyer asked.
“Arrest me,” the woman responded.
Both she and Shroyer noted that there were police officers nearby. But Shroyer apparently made no effort to report the woman.
Appearing with Jones in the InfoWars studio on Monday, Shroyer ― who was introduced as “the cuck slayer” ― said the Women’s Marches featured “mass mental illness.” Having attended each of the three annual feminist protests in the capital, Shroyer complained that he had been punched, spit on, “and then this year I go, I get literally grabbed in the genitals, and the whole crowd’s laughing and pointing at me.”
“It’s kind of sick, almost in a way, Alex, that I almost really don’t even care, and I’m not surprised at this point,” Shroyer said. “This is my only regret from the weekend, and quite frankly, this is just how dedicated I am to getting this footage, that I don’t even think about actually following through with having this woman arrested.”
Jones opined that Shroyer’s treatment reflects the “frothing evil” of the political left and the media’s bias in its favor. He unfavorably compared the lack of concern about his experience to the blanket coverage of a confrontation in Washington, DC, Friday between high school boys demonstrating against abortion and Native American activists.
Reports, especially at first, focused on one clip that created the misleading impression that the boys, some of whom wore “Make America Great Again” caps, had been the sole aggressors.
Jones also dismissed the outrage over Trump’s famous comments on the 2010 “Access Hollywood” tape, which surfaced during the 2016 presidential campaign, that “when you’re a star,” women let you do anything and you can “grab them by the pussy.” He said the president was clearly referring to consensual acts with women who threw themselves at him because of his Elvis Presley-like stardom.
Trump has denied claims of sexual misconduct by 22 women.
InfoWars is hardly an unbiased, or particularly reliable, source of news, and Shroyer by his own admission goes to Women’s Marches with the intention to provoke and document. He did not seem particularly threatened by the woman’s act.
Still, the incident captured what many conservatives see as progressives’ sense that certain identity groups, including women, are victims with special moral standing, which can excuse their misbehavior. See New York Times reporter Sarah Jeong’s racist tweets about white people.
That sense of cultural disrespect seems to be stoking right-wing anger, which may help explain Trump’s election and unflagging support by many Americans.
“So look at this, women have so much privilege she can sexual assault me and get away with it,” Shroyer declared in the video. “If I did that to her, I’d get arrested.”
