Canadian Judge Denies Bail to Trucker Convoy Organizer Tamara Lich for Mischief – Opinion

I have to give it to “Star Wars” creator George Lucas, being he got a couple of things right in the middle, three movies of the Skywalker saga. Well, actually the first three, which depends on if you start at the beginning of all nine films or go by release date — but more on that in a minute.

Tamara Lich (Canadian Trucker Protest Organizer) was scheduled for a bail hearing this morning. I had already written on Tuesday about it. She had been sitting in jail since her arrest on Thursday, and her bail and release should have been a matter of dotting some I’s and crossing some T’s. Let me tell you what this means. Article.

We are discovering here in America that the Canadian system is very balanced.

My friend Nick AramaCovered Tuesday morning the vote in Canada’s House of Commons on Monday night. This basically gives Justin Trudeau UNLIMITED power until they refuse to rubber stamp Prime Minister Comrade Emergency Act or put him back into a box.

On February 14, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau seized extraordinary power by invoking The Emergencies Act. He claimed it was required because of protesters’ blockades. The Act — which came into being in 1988 — had never been invoked before. There was a good reason why that’s the case — because to invoke it would require an emergency the nature of which doesn’t exist and the invocation a suspension of civil liberties. But that didn’t stop Trudeau who declared the unmitigated right not only to stomp all over people’s rights, but to freeze their bank accounts if he so chose, or even conscript people to work for the government. To clear the protest, he admitted to forcing tow truck drivers into work.

We reported that yesterday’s invocation was so worrying, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association spoke out against the Act and asked Parliament to reject it. They noted that the alleged excuse for the Act no longer even existed — the blockades (without the need for the Act), even the occupation in Ottawa were over.

Trudeau with his brown shirts in Training passed the measure by 185 votes to 151. Trudeau will now have another 30 days to roam the country looking for opponents to their mandates. This is because they are so passionate about what they do.

Tamara Lich was granted bail, but the judge refused it. Therefore, Tamara Lich is now in prison until her court date in March.

Tamara Lich was a key organizer for the Freedom Convoy. She was refused bail in Ottawa Tuesday morning.

Lich was the Alberta woman who started a GoFundMe campaign to raise over $10M to support Ottawa’s protest. She was then arrested on Thursday and charged with counseling to commit mischief.

Before her arrest, she told journalists she wasn’t concerned about being arrested, didn’t think the protest was illegal and also said her bank account was frozen.

Lich was not expected to return to her home in the end, and she would have difficulty stopping her counseling.

“This community has already been impacted enough by some of the criminal activity and blockades you took part in and even led,” said Ontario Superior Court Justice Julie Bourgeois.

“You have had plenty of opportunity to remove yourself and even others from this criminal activity but obstinately chose not to and persistently counselled others not to either.

“In Canada, every citizen can certainly disagree with and protest against government decisions but it needs to be done in a democratic fashion in abidance with the laws that have been established democratically.”

Can’t you just read the nitpickiness dripping from this judge and, really, from the writer of this article? The CBC is essentially Canadian-sponsored Pravda. But, I’m not going to argue with you. The truckers and their supporters have not done a freedom convoy.

Canada is a country where you can get a visa. Counselling to prevent mischief you can be held in jail for a certain period of time, and if your Prime Minister is ticked that you didn’t roll over and die with all of his mandates, you can be held hostage until you do so.

While I recognize that American and Canadian systems of justice differ, this is something to think about.

Mischief in Canada means…

*Peacefully protesting in your capital city. I’m sorry that horns bother you. But mandates from governments based upon feelings are even worse.

*If you help raise money for those protestors that are, once again, peacefully protesting, you can have your bank account frozen. You can even make a donation to this cause and have your bank account frozen.

* If you choose to disagree with the government, do it in the way the government says you must do it. That is, in essence, not doing it.

They are all very mischievous.

This is all the judge did and, by extension Prime Minister. CastroTrudeau is making Tamara Lich and others famous. Their fame is much greater than it was just one day ago. This is because of their excessive reaction to it. People who cheer this outcome online are only supporting her cause through their misplaced joy. I would chastise you, but I’m good with you continuing this because history is replete with how these things turn out in light of this type of government idiocy.

In the meantime, let’s revisit a famous scene from the third or sixth film in the “Star Wars,” nine-movie set (depending which way you look at it), which the liberals and progressives always love to post. A fear that democracy will be overthrown by Donald Trump and/or Stephen Harper in Canada. We always hear about how rights are being taken away by these folks, yet I’m not recalling any of the moves Trudeau has just done being done before in Canada, or here in the States during Trump.

Here you go, fascist lover. Just remember you won’t like it when it is you on the other end of this stick.
