Joe Biden is not a hapless man Ever been accused of being a wizard at messaging, let alone a word-meister or, dare I say, a great communicator, but to suggest that Corn Pop’s pal blew it bigly by publicly announcing in advance that his Please use the following criteria in selecting his first — and hopefully last —Supreme Court nominee was that it would be a “black woman” is an understatement of significant proportion.
Don’t misunderstand me.
Biden could very well have kept his mouth shut, but he chose to nominate a black woman for the highest court of the land, and this was based solely on her. Qualifications to be a member of the U.S. Supreme CourtThe vs. Her skin color
I don’t know if the Democrat Party InventedBut identity politics, I am certain they are not just a matter of decades. It’s possible to make it perfect. Since 1960, it’s been an integral part of the Left’s foundation.
Hence, given the Black Lives Matter movement, pretend ‘”systemic racism,” and “white supremacy,” and in particular the ridiculous notion that White people are “inherently racist” because they were That’s how we were createdBiden would choose a black woman to be his first nominee for SCOTUS.
Again, don’t misunderstand me.
Fox News’ Trey Gowdy, Fox News’ host, said Sunday night, “Regardless of who Biden chooses,” as the ex-South Carolina Congressman does so often: All nominees.
CHANGE IN TUNE @TGowdySCAs he promises to be the first, he reminds President that Black woman were already excluded from Supreme Court. https://t.co/2GEvC3Ewop pic.twitter.com/EHTdcSL6Vd

Fox News transcribing the transcript (emphasis mine).
Joe Biden is now promising to make the next Supreme Court justice a Black woman. Americans – including a majority of Democrats – believe Biden should consider all nominees. Why not seek out the best qualified candidates possible, Mr. President
I’m fully convinced some of the names on that list would be Black women. I’m able to think of many right now. I would choose one. Michelle ChildsSouth Carolina
She You can compete regardless of the number of applicants. People who have known her and seen her before are unanimous in their praise of her intelligence, character and work ethic.
Her name was Elected to the South Carolina state court judgeshipA state known not for affirmative actions or quotas. Out of all the applicants, she won because she was most qualified and not because she is Black..
Her name was His election was influenced by RepublicansAnother entity that is not well-known for its support of set-asides, affirmative actions, and quotas.
They are all great points. Each of these could and should have been, or should be, the qualifications Biden had to recognize before he made a decision.
Gowdy later noted, Childs was confirmed unanimously by the U.S. Senate by voice vote for a federal Judgeship. Why? Because she was, she was also nominated. supremely qualified — NotIt is because Her gender and skin color.
Gowdy It was flawless:
There’s a difference between picking someone who is supremely qualified and happens to Black, and picking someone because she is Black.
Harvard Law Professor Emeritus and Fox News contributor Alan Dershowitz — who knows Biden well and voted for him in 2020 — agrees with “all of the above.” As reported by Just the News, Dershowitz said his old pal made a “serious error” by announcing in advance that he would choose a Black woman to replace retiring Justice Stephen Breyer.
I think it’s wonderful if the most qualified person and maybe she is is a black woman, that’s great. It would be a diversity addition to the court. That would be something I welcome enthusiastically.
But to say to every person who’s not a black woman, ‘No, I’m sorry, you’re not qualified to serve on the Supreme Court, at least not in this appointment’ … That just is not the American way. I don’t think it’s fair.
“I think he made a serious error here in announcing This he was going to limit” [the nomination search to black women], Dershowitz added.
Dershowitz then suggested Biden’s announced criteria is unconstitutional.
Under the Fourteenth Amendment and the Nineteenth Amendment, he said, “you cannot use race and gender as a disqualifying factor in appointing people to the Supreme Court.” Um, Joe? I’m no constitutional lawyer, but unless I’m missing something thatIt seems to be as simple as possible.
That doesn’t matter. Democrats will vote Democratic. However, it is up to you when and if not. RepublicansYou can try to DemocratThen all hell breaks out.
As Trey Gowdy suggested, Joe Biden and the Democrats tell the rest of us ad nauseam how they want the Supreme Court — and every other federal government institution to “look like America.” “Despite the fact that [Biden] whiffed when he could have done that in past,” he said.
This is the final step. he has refused to do the one thing that looks the very most like America – picking the most qualified person. That would be a Black woman, I am certain. You would too, Monsieur President.
As reported by The Washington Post, then Sen. Biden and his fellow Democrats in 2003 filibustered the George W. Bush nomination of Judge Janice Rogers Brown to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. WaPo reported that Brown was quickly hailed as the potential Supreme Court nominee. She was highly qualified, having served for seven years as an associate justice of the California Supreme Court — the first Black woman to do so.
Also, what’s the point of this? TBlack woman wearing a hat Joe? Joe?
Biden’s Democrat political narrative was Even more crucialThe more than color of Judge Brown’s skin. Ain’t that something? Biden now considers that skin color is the sole criteria in selecting SCOTUS candidates almost twenty years after his election. He now has the cards. And they have HypocrisyThey were scribbled on.
Let’s get to the bottom of it:
Biden only had to state that he would seek out the most qualified candidate for the job. Period. This list would have included Black women. Michelle Childs is undoubtedly at the top.
But that’s not what Democrats do. As the consummate Democrat Joe, he needed and wanted to get started. Point of viewHe, being a Democratic Democrat, sent the completely wrong message to the nation.
Gowdy suggested that Black women need not compete against each other in order to succeed. Then again, if you’re a guy who tells Black America “if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”? Yeah.
The mics drop… Gowdy, Dershowitz, and Miller walk off the stage… the house lights fade to black.
As long as the Democrat song stays the same.
