ABC/CBS/NBC/CNN/MSNBC Spend Zero Seconds on Loudoun,VA School Sex Assaults

All over the country, parents have begun to rise up against the forced leftist policies of ultra-liberals in public schools.

As radio talk show host Mark Levin recently put it, there is a “war against parents and taxpayers by the teachers unions, the educational bureaucracy, school boards, and the Biden administration.”

Well one of those policies (on transgender bathrooms) may have led to two sexual assaults in Loudoun County, Virginia schools, but you wouldn’t know that if you get your news from ABC, CBS and NBC. CNN. MSNBC.

Despite it now being a key issue in the Virginia Governor’s race between Republican Glenn Youngkin and Democrat Terry McAuliffe, the national news media (outside of outlets like Fox News, OAN and Newsmax) have refused to cover the shocking story.

Those same liberal news outlets also have to yet cover parents in Loudoun County, Virginia and Saline, Michigan standing up to the Biden administration’s treatment of parents as “threats,” via a lawsuit against Attorney General Merrick Garland.

MRC analysts looked at all of the news coverage on ABC, CBS, NBC evening and morning shows, as well as CNN and MSNBC’s coverage (6am through midnight ET) from October 11 (Publication of The Daily Wire investigative)Through October 20,And found zero seconds spent on the following stories: Parents upset at transgender bathroom polices that led to sexual assaults of female students in Loudoun County, Virginia; Parents suing Biden’s Department of Justice for likening them to domestic terrorists.

Below is the breakdown

ABC/CBS/NBC/CNN/MSNBC Censor Loudoun County School Board Covering Up Bathroom Rape to Pass Trans Policy

In a bombshell report from The Daily Wire on October 11, reporter Luke Rosiak exposed how the controversial Loudoun County School Board (located in the Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC) allegedly covered up the rape of a 15-year-old girl in the girls’ bathroom at the hands of a boy in a skirt just so they could pass a transgender bathroom policy. This was a disturbing story, which quickly gained national attention from conservative news outlets. However, neither the ABC, CBS, NBC, or NBC network news channels nor liberal cable outlets (CNN and MSNBC) touched it.

The Fox News Channel’s Report SpecialI did take note of the angry voices of parents who were seeking protection and justice for their children. “Tonight, the epicenter of the controversy, a northern Virginia community that’s being rocked by a horrifying allegation from one of the faces of that movement,” announced anchor Bret Baier.

“Last night, more than 60 concerned parents, students, and residents spoke out at a Loudoun County school board meeting, some calling on Superintendent Scott Ziegler to resign following two alleged sexual assaults in Loudoun schools since May,” reported correspondent Mike Emanuel.

In an interview with Fox News’s Laura Ingraham on October 12, Scott Smith, the father of the first victim, recounted how the school board showed open contempt for parents back in June when they had him arrested for trying to speak out about his daughter. “No, they were tuning us all out. They were staring at the ceiling. They were reading magazines,” he said, also noting that they repeatedly scolded parents for clapping and booing.

ABC/CBS/NBC/CNN/MSNBC Censor Parents Suing DOJ for “Threats” Smear

On October 19, parents fought back against the Department of Justice pledging to investigate  them as “threats.”

The National Review’s Caroline Downey reported:

A federal civil rights lawsuit was filed Tuesday on behalf of a coalition of parents against Attorney General Merrick Garland, claiming that his recent memo directing the FBI to investigate and potentially prosecute “threats” leveled by parents against school board members is intended to chill speech.

American Freedom Law Center (AFLC), a JudeoChristian public interest law firm, brought the case to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia for the parents of Saline, Mich. and Loudoun County. Each town has a reputation for being a hot spot in school board battles regarding equity, inclusion and critical race theory.

“The AG Policy is a direct threat and warning to parents and private citizens across the United States, including Plaintiffs, that the Department of Justice and its FBI will be investigating you and monitoring what you say at these school board meetings so be careful about what you say and how you say it, thereby chilling such expression,” the legal filing states.

Plaintiffs claim that the memo permits unconstitutional federal involvement in local affairs. In the filing, the AFLC attorneys point out that the unruly behavior of parents at some school board meetings, even yelling or crude language, is still protected speech under the Constitution and questions what right the federal government has to involve itself in cases where parents’ speech crosses the line into threats of violence.

However, back on September 30 and October 1, NBC and CBS DID hype an outrageous demand from the left-wing National School Boards Association (NSBA) that the Biden administration treat parents protesting at school board meetings across the country as acts of “domestic terrorism.”

NewsBusters’s Kyle Drennen reported:

“Cry for help. A shocking turn in the fight over vaccine and mask mandates in school,” co-host Savannah Guthrie proclaimed at the top of NBC’s Today on Friday morning. She then parroted the incendiary rhetoric coming from the NSBA, a group loaded with Democratic Party donors: “School boards across the country calling on the White House to send federal agents to protect them from angry parents, saying their protests should be treated as domestic terrorism.”…Minutes later, fellow co-host Hoda Kotb declared: “There are some very shocking images of parents and protesters pushing back and now school boards from coast to coast are demanding help.”…Opening Thursday’s CBS Evening News, anchor Norah O’Donnell sounded the alarm: “Threats to school boards. Tonight the stunning request asking for help from the FBI to crack down on unruly behavior from parents because of COVID rules.” While introducing the later report, she hailed: “Well, tonight, the National School Board[s] Association is taking extraordinary action, sending an SOS to the White House and law enforcement.”

A Media Story About Education

It’s not as if the media can make the excuse that Loudoun County, VA and Saline, MI are just small local-based stories. Cable hosts like MSNBC’s Joy Reid and Tiffany Cross have trashed conservative parents — in other cities — protesting Critical Race Theory as “half-witted….without any intellectual curiosity.”

You can also NBC Nightly News In spite of not being able to write about the Loudoun County VA sexual assault case, they did manage to dedicate five stories, totaling 14 mins, 8 secs, to (primarily) praising parents in Southlake Texas and Rockwood Missouri for refusing to teach leftist materials. NBC News even dedicated an entire podcast to this Southlake story.

On October 14, NewsBusters reported:

For months now, NBC News has been assailing the concerned parents of Southlake, Texas because they’ve been standing up to the tide of critical race theory being crammed down the throats of their children. Even though there were new details to the Loudoun County high-school rapes story on Thursday, NBC Nightly NewsTheir assault continued on the community, which has been fed up with liberal propaganda. Even deceitfully edited audio so that it appeared the parents supported the Holocaust.

Continuing their smears suggesting the town was made up of rabid racists looking to drive minorities out of their community, anchor Lester “fairness is overrated” Holt chided the town for being the “center of a firestorm over diversity and inclusion efforts. Now, secretly recorded comments from a top administrator about books on the Holocaust are sparking new outrage.”
