Elijah Dickens, a 22-year old good man with a gun who had never been trained in military combat, killed an enemy with his gun within seconds of clearing his gun and firing. The left didn’t defend or praise Dickens — Dickens had the nerve to bring a concealed weapon into a mall. The left’s best argument was to scream about the Greenwood Mall having rules forbidding concealed weapons. By pure coincidence, the bad guy didn’t pay attention to either feckless mall rules, or the penal code. Once inside, he concealed a long weapon and started firing. News Flash: Bad guys don’t care about violating rules or statutes.
A good guy with a gun isn’t all that unusual. All people have to defend their belongings from armed robbers and thugs. Sometimes, it doesn’t end with anyone dying. Sometimes the bad guy dies.
Joe Teague was 93 years old and frustrated with the frequent burglaries. He shot and severely injured an intruder to his home. He was kicked out of his home by the bad guys. He tried to place them under “citizen’s arrest” but they didn’t listen, and one got shot for not listening.
One May 20, 2022 saw a West Virginia woman who was carrying a concealed weapon kill a criminal before he could attempt to murder large numbers of people.
A man who wanted to commit mass murder at West Freeway Church of Christ in 2019 was shot and killed by gun-wielding men.
Numerous instances have occurred where guns prevented bad guys from getting away with bad things. These are only 11 instances of it happening. Media amplify when cops fail to do their job or scold that a good guy with a gun didn’t read a shopping mall’s “don’t do” list.
If we had 50 states with “Castle Laws” and people trained in firearms, the results would be a drop in crime. This isn’t based on stats, it is based on common sense. Recent reductions in proactive police have led to an increase in gun violence. Bad guys would think they could be shot while robbing stores or homes. It would reduce crime. Crime would fall if business owners praised employees for protecting their companies rather than firing employees for using lethal force to defend them.
A good man with a gun protected himself against four robbers on Sunday in Norco. One had at least one gun. Where’s the short video and the feel-good result? The robber with a gun is shot and yells that his arm has been “shot off”.
#WATCHHe shot off my arm, so he shouts at the would-be robber who has been following him for 80 years. #NorcoA store owner shoots the man with a shotgun. One remains hospitalized while the other four are arrested. The store owner is expected to be back at work. pic.twitter.com/i3LAVdv5WL

They panicked so much that they nearly left behind one other criminal. The hospital arrested all of them.
“Good guys with guns” do happen. They just get memory-holed because it doesn’t fit the narrative.
