WATCH: Gutfeld Mocks CNN’s Chris Wallace in Each Segment of ‘The Five’

In the funniest thing, you’ll see all day, Fox News’s Greg Gutfeld took an opportunity to get in a shot at former Fox host turned CNN+ failure, Chris Wallace, during every segment of Thursday evening’s The Five. Gutfeld found the unavoidable failure of CNN+ hilarious, just like everyone else. This mockery, for a streaming company that earned less money than a Kickstarter campaign about potato salad, is well-deserved.

During the A-block, when it was Gutfeld’s turn to speak about the paltry crop of potential Democrat presidential candidates, Gutfeld said “Hillary [Clinton]was meant to return. You got Bernie [Sanders], you got Mitt [Romney]. The Democratic bench is thinner than Chris Wallace’s demo reel from CNN+”

In the next segment which was on the topic of rising crime in American cities and Black Lives Matter’s influence in causing it, Gutfeld observed “BLM has done to black people, what Chris Wallace has done to CNN+. Entice them with a promise, and then ditch them on the side of the road.”

“I’m going to do this every segment, so just get used to it”Gutfeld warned viewers.

When Gutfeld was asked to give his take on former President Obama’s pathetic speech on “disinformation”, the Fox co-host again took a shot at Wallace “well to quote Chris Wallace. I don’t think the credibility of this initiative is sustainable.”

He mocked again the CNN+ host moments later “so look for independent voices with free time. I guess that eliminates Chris Wallace.”Jeanine Pirro, a fellow host, gasped at the line.

In the D-Block when Pirro asked Gutfeld what he thought about climate change, Gutfeld responded that he thinks it’s a “challenge that we will be facing” but argued a lot of the left’s solutions are unreliable. “I mean look at CNN+, how much money they invested in wind power by hiring Chris Wallace” he quipped.

Pirro, when discussing the controversy over boxer Mike Tyson fighting alongside another passenger aboard a commercial aircraft, recalls how a drunken man next to her vomited all her clothes. Gutfeld was excited to ask if it was Chris Wallace.

In the last segment called “One More Thing”, Gutfeld shared a video of a wild buffalo wandering on the sidewalk of a suburban street corner. Gutfeld revealed the story by narrating the video. “I just looked out at Sixth Avenue and who did I see just hanging out in front of tavern? None other than guess… Chris Wallace!”

However, Gutfeld seemed hopeful for Wallace adding “they just shut down CNN+. He is there! He’s a little downtrodden. But who knows, he’ll probably head over to CNN proper. They’ll probably find a spot for him.”

You are well deserving of mocking. Chris Wallace has made the best career decision of any person. Moving from Fox News to CNN+ Lektion learned.

GREG GUTFELD You got Bernie, you got Mitt. The Democratic bench is thinner than Chris Wallace’s demo reel from CNN+

DANA PERINO [laughs] It’s pretty thin.

GUTFELD: Thanks. That was what I had to do.

(…)

Eastern at 5:21 p.m.

GUTFELD: What Chris Wallace did to CNN+, BLM has done for black Americans. You can make them promise you will, but then they’ll just walk away. I’m going to do this every segment so just get used to it.

(…)

Eastern at 5:33 p.m.

GUTFELD I don’t think the credibility of this initiative is sustainable. And I’ll tell you why. Barack Obama and I are not credible judges of misinformation. We all know each other’s biases.

(…)

Eastern, 5:34:50

GUTFELD – You need to see the people, as Judge stated, who are absolute free speech absolutists. They’re generally comedians and writers, right? They’re never politicians because the politicians always end up defending their side. Look for independent voices who have free time. Chris Wallace is eliminated, I suppose.

(…)

Eastern at 5:43.53

JEANINE PIRRO : I think Greg, that you believe that climate change does not pose a threat to our existence as they claim.

GUTFELD – I believe it’s a problem that we will face. However, a lot the solutions from the left are not reliable. Whether it’s solar panels or windmills. You can see CNN+’s investment in wind power, Chris Wallace being hired.

PIRRO: A drunk man was sitting beside me on the plane. He vomited all over my body.

GUTFELD: Chris Wallace was it?

PIRRO: I don’t know but he vomited in my purse. It really bothered me.

GUTFELD: You know I didn’t have—I had nothing to come up with and that just fit perfectly. I’m done now, I think.

GUTFELD: I haven’t done a celebrity sighting in a while, but as we know CNN+ closed down. It’s not uncommon to see their talent on the street. So, for example, when I looked at Sixth Avenue I saw someone just sitting in front of the tavern. You guessed it… Chris Wallace. It was all just a wandering through the streets, just crossing over police tape. CNN+ has been shut down. He is there! He’s a little downtrodden. But who knows, he’ll probably head over to CNN proper. They’ll probably find a spot for him.

PERINO: It’s kind of cold out there.

GUTFELD: The temperature is very cold. It’s snowing out here in New York.
