The Wednesday show of Nicolle Wallace was quite a comedy. First of all, Wallace did not seem to be able to stop himself from comparing Govs. Ron DeSantis refers to Glenn Youngkin as Russians.Russians dehumanize their children to get their soldiers involved in rape. Matthew Dowd, who was delivering that hateful message just after it, attacked the conservative Christians.
Love one another is the entire message in the Gospels from the Easter holiday. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. He would be called groomer, woke, and socialist if Jesus Christ were alive today.
Dowd asserts to be a Catholic and a regular churchgoer, but the average Christian would say something like, “um…we’re told that Jesus is still alive today. He doesn’t walk the streets, nor does he appear on cable television. But MSNBC treated Dowd like Bluto in Animal House Talking about how the Germans invaded Pearl Harbor. He’s on an incredible roll, let him talk!
DOWD: If he was live today, if he was speaking the message he spoke in the Gospels today about treating everybody with dignity. Jesus Christ was a tax collector and prostitute. For speaking for those most in need of Middle East assistance, he was crucified.
And the idea that a certain segment of the population has tried to capture the faith and corrupt a message that I’ve been a follower of since I was baptized and was confirmed and served on the altar in the course of this is something I think all of us — it’s not just people of faith but all of us, whether Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, whatever you happen to be, or don’t have a faith at all, the message that love conquers hate is a message all of us, all of us should be pushing, but especially Christians in the country who cannot stand what has happened to our faith.
This attack on Christians who object to teaching kindergarteners to doubt their gender “assigned at birth” undercuts Dowd’s notion that we should all love one another — except those right-wing corrupters of Jesus.
Dowd’s right, he has done this before. Last November, Wallace read his tweet “As I sat in church today, I was thinking, if Jesus were here today, he would be accused of being woke.” This was Critical Race Theory. In his head, “Decency” is the same as accusing whites of being implicitly racism.
Wallace raised the question of Owen Jensen (EWTN reporter) last September. Jensen was asking how Biden can be “devout Catholic” but completely pro-abortion. Dowd stated that Dowd was offensive to the question and would not answer it.These people believe that pro-life is a word they should be using.
Fox’s Brian Kilmeade made a joke on Thursday night“The Jesus that I know would buy him a Breathalyzer …. He is out of control.”
