The NCAA does not pretend to be concerned about women’s sports.
Rachel Gaines (a University of Kentucky senior) tied for fifth place in the 200-meter women’s championships. However, even though they tied, she had to take photos with Thomas’ sixth place trophy.
Although it might not seem like much, Gaines shared some details about a conversation that she had with an NCAA official regarding the decision. This is when the really disgusting aspects of the matter emerged.
“We tied. “What are we chronologically concerned about?” she asked the official. She asked the official.
Sorry, Lia doesn’t need anything except a ticket to women’s swimming.
Thomas was a scandal to the sport as well as one of the largest proponents for an ideology that has brought ruin on our culture. Gaines and other women are disappearing from our culture today because the NCAA allows Thomas to indulge his fantasies.
Gaines still hasn’t received her trophy from the event, adding insult to injury. On Rep. Sen. Marsha Blackburn’s podcast Unmuted, Gaines claimed that the NCAA had yet to give her the trophy which she has earned.
“That’s another crazy thing,” Gaines said. After I was out of the water we went behind the podium and headed to the awards ceremony, where the trophies were distributed. The NCAA official approached me as I returned to the water and told me that we had only one fifth-place trophy. I quickly understood.
But he stated, “We’re going to have to give the trophy to Lia. It will arrive in the mail. Great job.'”
It’s a joke. This situation is a joke. Anyone who claims that NCAA takes care of women should only look at it.
