The best thing about the world is to love it New York Post.
It was way back in the stone age that began on October 14, 2020. PostThis headline was featured on the front page of The New York Times alongside a picture of Joe, his smiling dad and Hunter Biden smiling.
All caps for the headline
BIDEN SECRET E-MAILS
This was just above the headline: “Revealed: Ukranian exec thanked Hunter Biden for ‘opportunity to meet’ veep dad”
It PostThe story was started in this manner, with bold print to emphasise the point.
Hunter Biden presented his father Joe Biden to Joe, the then-Vice President of the United States, less than one year prior to the older Biden urging officials in Ukraine to fire a prosecutor investigating the firm. Emails obtained by The Associated Press show that Hunter Biden did this just six months before Joe Biden was elected Vice President. Post.
The never-before-revealed meeting is mentioned in a message of appreciation that Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma, allegedly sent Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015, about a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board at a reported salary of up to $50,000 a month.
“Dear Hunter: Thank you so much for inviting me to DC. It was a great opportunity to see your father. [sic]spend some time together. It’s realty [sic]An honor and pleasure”It reads.
An earlier email from May 2014 also shows Pozharskyi, reportedly Burisma’s No. 3 exec, asking Hunter for ‘advice on how you could use your influence’ on the company’s behalf.
The blockbuster correspondence — which flies in the face of Joe Biden’s claim that he’s “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings” — is contained in a massive trove of data recovered from a laptop computer.
These are the best PostThe scoop story was, sufficed to say, significant news in the middle a hot presidential election between Joe Biden & President Donald Trump.
But eight days later, on October 22, 2020, The New York TimesThis headline was written by Adam Goldman and is part of a larger story:
What We Know and Don’t About Hunter Biden and a Laptop
President Trump’s allies have promoted claims of corruption aimed at the former vice president’s son in an effort to damage the Biden campaign.
This is the jewel of a TimesStory as follows:
Russian disinformation was raised after the Intelligence Community warned months ago about Russian attempts at influence the election. They also spread disinformation about members of the Biden family. Russia launched a hacking campaign that sought to hack the Biden campaign’s information, most prominently through hacks on Burisma.
Intelligence officials have also warned the White House that Russian intelligence officers were using (former NYC Mayor Rudy) Mr. Giuliani, who provided the hard drive copy to the tabloid, as a conduit for disinformation aimed at undermining Mr. Biden’s presidential run.
Next, there was Big Tech’s block. Fox News reported the incident the day following. PostPublished its blockbuster:
Twitter’s dual standard appears after NY Post Hunter Biden story is blocked. Other media receive pass, critics argue
Dan Gainor states, “Their goal it to make it unfair and undemocratic.
Fox began the Fox story: “Twitter faced unrelenting backlash after blocking the spread of a New York PostBlowshell was harshly critical of Hunter Biden Wednesday as critics noted that CNN did not treat Hunter Biden the same way. The New York Times and other media with highly questionable sourcing.”
What’s the matter now? More than a year later The TimesThey tried to discredit her along with other mainstream media. Post story? The TimesThis story is buried on page A-20. This is the headline
Hunter Biden Paid Tax Bill, but Broad Federal Investigation Continues
The Justice Department inquiry into the business dealings of the president’s son has remained active, with a grand jury seeking information about payments from around the world.
The Times has this confession, and it is also in their story
According to people familiar with the case, prosecutors examined email correspondence between Mr. Archer, Mr. Biden and others regarding Burisma or other foreign business activities. These email were received by The New York TimesFrom a cache of files, that appeared to have been taken from an abandoned laptop by Biden at a Delaware repair store. Persons familiar with this email and those in the cache confirmed their authenticity.
To respond to The TimesThe admission was made with a red face PostThis is the editorial. Laughter ensues.
Now that Joe Biden’s president, the Times finally admits: Hunter’s laptop is real
The editorial started:
Forgive the profanity, but you have got to be s–tting us.
First, The New York Times decides more than a year later that Hunter Biden’s business woes are worthy of a story. Then, deep in the piece, in passing, it notes that Hunter’s laptop is legitimate.
“People familiar with the investigation said prosecutors had examined emails between Mr. Biden, Mr. Archer and others about Burisma and other foreign business activity,” The Times writes. “Those emails were obtained by The New York TimesFrom a cache of files which appears to have been taken from a computer that Mr. Biden left behind in a Delaware repair shop. The email and others in the cache were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.”
Authenticated!!! You don’t say. You mean, when a newspaper actually does reporting on a topic and doesn’t just try to whitewash coverage for Joe Biden, it discovers it’s actually true?
This is the shorthand for that. The New York Timesdid not investigate or report the facts. Post’s story. No, The Times response and that of all manner of “mainstream” media figures was to pooh-pooh the Post scoop, to pretend that it was all discredited garbage and Russian information.
It could only have been to save Joe Biden, then-candidate. Big Tech took the matter further by simply obstructing it.
Trump Attorney General William Barr acknowledged that all of these things had an impact, according to Fox News. The Epoch Times):
Suppression of Hunter Biden Laptop Stories ‘Definitely’ Impacted 2020 Election: Barr
Epoch reports:
The widespread action against stories on emails and other material from a laptop believed to be owned by President Joe Biden’s son impacted the 2020 election, former Attorney General William Barr said on March 17.
After you have completed the New York PostReporters on the material reported that Twitter had blocked circulation and other news outlets deny the authenticity of the story. They also claimed that it was part of an effort to disinformation Russia or didn’t matter.
“That definitely made an impact on the election, the suppressing that news,” Barr, who served during the Trump and George H. W. Bush administrations, said on Fox News.
“And it’s not a question of whether it was criminal or not, right. It was shameful enough just to mention the facts. Most Americans would see the truth and be horrified by it. The issue of criminality is a different issue,” Barr added.
This headline was published at Breitbart The TimesI confessed:
15 Media Personalities Claimed Hunter’s Laptop Emails Were Likely Russian Propaganda Before New York Times Admitted
The Breitbart article also featured names of journalists from MSNBC and The Daily Beast. The Washington Post, Mother JonesCNN and many other sites. A person can access the following: Post story was dismissed as “most likely Russian propaganda” (CNN), “Russian disinformation” (Mother Jones), “false” and “possibly part of a Russian disinformation campaign” (The Washington Post). This was the beginning of a disinformation campaign by liberal media.
It all comes down to this: It’s all here: The New York TimesThey have destroyed their own credibility and reputation as journalistic outlets or serious journalists. By deliberately suppressing and dismissing an accurate news story, they have ruined their credibility. This could have made a difference in the outcome of the 2020 Presidential election. Their favourite candidate.
As The Federalist’s staff writer Jordan Boyd has correctly observed:
However, New York Times quietly now admitting the legitimacy of the laptop, don’t expect an apology from them or any other corporate media outlets, pundits, Democrats, or Big Tech. They have demonstrated over and over that their missteps are no good-faith journalistic “errors” warranting a “correction” or follow-up story a year and a half later. They are willing to do anything necessary to help themselves and their political allies.
Exactly.
It is shameful, stupid and suicidal to one’s own credibility.
