California witnessed a deadly shooting after smash and grab robberies began in several Democratic cities. A former officer, who had been protecting the news crew when it was attacked while they covered a smash & grab story, was killed. It is possible that violence has again occurred in Oakbrook Center Mall (a suburb in Oak Brook), Illinois.
There’s been a shooting at that mall that has injured four people, according to the police. Following the shooting at the mall, one suspect was taken into police custody.

DuPage County board member Pete DiCianni said he was nearby and was told the shooting happened outside the Nordstrom store, a frequent target of smash and grabs. Last-minute Christmas shoppers flocked to the mall.
There have been several smash and grabs at the mall in the past. Nordstroms was also hit on Dec. 6, where it was struck twice in one day.
