Biden Lied About Testing and Rejected Plan to Surge COVID Tests – Opinion

Joe Biden stated that he wishes he had thought about ordering additional tests during his interview last night with David Muir. Joe Biden said that Omicron was not something anyone had expected, and therefore no one could have anticipated its need.

As we’ve said, that’s nonsense as he should have known for months that there would be variants, and that he even said back last December that testing should be ramped up. Trump was not subject to more intensive testing.

But it gets worse, if you go back and look at what he has previously said and promised about testing, as well as the options that he had and didn’t take.

Here’s a breakdown of all his remarks on testing, where he talks about the importance of increasing the tests and what they’re going to do to increase testing, including saying in March that they’re working on making home testing available to people. Then on Sept. 9, he says he’s going to use the Defense Production Act to increase the production of at-home tests and will have 300 million tests available so that people can have them.

Three months earlier, he already had 300 million test promises. Was that true? Now, he’s saying he wished he had thought about having 500 million. Is this not bizarre? Is he even able to remember the words he said from one moment to another?

It gets worse.

A Vanity Fair report said that Biden had been warned by Vanity Fair in October about the need to intensify COVID testing.

Vanity Fair received a 10-page document detailing the plan. The U.S. would be able to do what other countries have already done, giving citizens rapid access to COVID-19 testing at their homes. They could screen themselves immediately and help to reduce transmission. It called for 732 million test per month. This would need a significant increase in manufacturing capabilities. It also recommended, right on the first page, a nationwide “Testing Surge to Prevent Holiday COVID Surge.”

It was obvious that the people knew it would happen. In fact, they gave him a plan. The plan included tests and procedures to help avoid long waits. But he rejected it, apparently saying they didn’t have the capacity. Imagine if President Donald Trump had said that — we never would have had the private/public partnership that produced the vaccines. Biden never told David Muir he’d been offered a plan, when he said he “wished” that he had thought of surging testing before.

But as we said, even the promise that they made over the last couple of days isn’t even real yet. They didn’t even have a contract yet to acquire the test kits. So we’re talking about weeks into January and maybe February in terms of availability i- past the holidays and perhaps even past any winter surge of the virus.

This wasn’t a Fox reporter asking that question — even the liberal media reporters are now pushing these questions because it’s affecting everyone and even they can’t justify it.

This isn’t just about lying to embellish himself or making up stories about being a truck driver here. This would be insane enough. This is about him not even knowing what he’s doing from one minute to the next, and not looking out for the best interests of the country. That’s endangering us all.
