“Democrats continue to show day in and day out that they’re nothing but sore losers.”
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders slammed Democrats during a Thursday appearance on Fox News, saying they are a “sad excuse for a political party.”
Sanders went on “Fox & Friends” to discuss a New York Times report that indicated investigators for Special Counsel Robert Mueller had “told associates that Attorney General William P. Barr failed to adequately portray the findings of their inquiry” and were “more troubling for President Trump than Mr. Barr indicated.”

Host Brian Kilmeade asked Sanders to comment on the report.
“I think it’s the same one we’ve had all along. Democrats continue to show day in and day out that they’re nothing but sore losers,” Sanders said.
“At some point, they have to realize that they have been beat by President Trump in the 2016 election,” Sanders continued. “They’re getting beat by him day in and day out on issues that actually matter, and I think they’re a sad excuse for a political party right now and at some point, they have to decide that they want to actually govern and they actually want to change things and make America better and join the president in those efforts.”

Sanders’ assessment comes as Barr continues his work to prepare the Mueller report for public release, a process he has said will take until mid-April.
Democrats have raised the question of whether Barr is attempting to soften the most damaging evidence to Trump, insisting the unredacted report be released immediately.
Mueller recently wrapped up his nearly two year investigation, clearing Trump and his associates of colluding with Russian operatives during the 2016 election, according to a summary of the report Barr sent to Congress.
Democrats have indicated an unwillingness to accept Barr’s assessment, instead vowing to continue their own investigations into Trump and his associates.
