Recent polls show that Americans think Joe Biden and the Democrats are focused on the wrong things, that they are focused more on their political narratives than what they should be focused on instead — the things that they are concerned about, including the record-high inflation.
But that didn’t stop Democrats from spending a ton of time pushing a completely phony narrative about “voting rights,” despite no one being denied the right to vote. In order to achieve their goals, they demonized and attacked those in opposition to the Senate rules. Despite all this, Sen. Joe Manchin, D-WV, and Sen. Kyrsten Silena, D-AZ, refused to bow down under pressure.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki did an interview on “The View” Friday, in which she bemoaned the failure of the voting legislation and the effort to kill the filibuster.
“I think this week has been frustrating, devastating, angering, all of those things,” Psaki said.
Jen Psaki: “My advice to everyone out there who’s frustrated, sad, angry, pissed off, feel those emotions, go to a kickboxing class, have a margarita…”

“So, my advice to everyone out there who’s frustrated, sad, angry, pissed off: Feel those emotions, go to a kickboxing class, have a margarita, do whatever you need to do this weekend, and then wake up on Monday morning. We’ve got to keep fighting,” Psaki said. She followed that up by saying they had to keep up the “anger of that activism,” as well.
This is what Psaki advises voters. ‘Hey, sorry, we failed so get drunk and beat things up’? With all of the failings of the Biden government, people will be forced to drink a lot. If this were actually about ‘voting rights,’ what a cavalier response from her. But notice, also, how there’s a subtle shift going on there — now it isn’t people having the right to vote, it’s about educating people about their rights. That’s to blunt the blow of their failure. It also shows the dishonesty of their initial description of their legislation.
Psaki also doesn’t know what the majority of Americans care about. It isn’t about pushing phony voting narratives. Only the Democrats and political activists were involved in ensuring that this Democratic legislation passed. Otherwise, most Americans looking at it know it’s shady — that everyone has the right to vote — and know that this Democratic push is about other things: namely trying to federalize elections and grab power.
Notice Psaki doesn’t seem at all concerned about people being frustrated over inflation, because that wouldn’t help Democrats seize more federal power. Imagine not understanding how pedantic and elitist it is to say “do kickboxing” and get a “margarita” to folks trying to figure out how to pay for everything in Biden’s crushing economy. Sounds a lot like “let them eat cake.”
Psaki also stated that they must continue working to abolish the filibuster. Unless of course, they need to use it, as they did when they relied on the filibuster rule to stop Sen. Ted Cruz’s Nord Stream 2 bill last week — and as they did 327 times when they were last in the minority in 2020. That’s just how duplicitous they are on this whole issue. They will be reminded of how vital and pure the filibuster once they lose the Senate this November.
Psaki’s remarks didn’t go over well with either the left or the right.
What if you already workout and don’t drink alcohol but you’re still upset about inflation, gas prices and surging crime? What’s your advice then? https://t.co/5hG7eUdT2c

This reaction accidentally reveals that their argument that people can’t vote is bogus.
Can someone who is able to take a class in kickboxing or relax with a margarita have any problem voting?
Liberal activists are her audience. They drive their Volvos to the kickboxing classes. https://t.co/LTXSKP84mA
