Joe Biden is flying to Belgium later this week and he’s then going on to Poland to talk about the NATO alliance, given concerns about Russia’s aggression in the region with the war on Ukraine.
Jen Psaki, White House Press Secretary, will not go with him. Because she was positive for COVID, she just said that she would not accompany Biden overseas.

She said that she only had “socially distanced” contact with Biden so she wasn’t considered a “close contact” of his. He was tested and he’s tested negative, Psaki said.
Yesterday, I met with President Obama twice on a socially distant basis. He isn’t considered a close friend as per CDC guidelines. Out of an abundance for transparency, I’m sharing my positive results today. The President was negative for PCR today.

What has it been like for the Biden administration to push masks against the American people? Yet, Jen Psaki doesn’t wear a mask during her briefings and generally not even when leaving them. And when she has pulled on a mask, it’s generally a cloth one. The Biden team claimed that the reporters who attended the briefing on Monday aren’t considered “close contacts” but that they are doing contact tracing with anyone that might fall within that ambit.

There are some questions. Didn’t she just have COVID a few months ago? Yes, indeed she did. It was October 31, 2021 when she declared that she is positive. Because of this, she had already canceled a second foreign trip that Joe Biden and her took. a family “emergency” — the emergency was people testing positive for COVID and then she tested positive as well.
She got the item again, even though she was supposedly double vaxxed, and boosted. Are her luckiest ever? Or does she just not want to have to deal with Joe Biden’s gaffes overseas, not to mention all the flack that she’s getting over the Hunter Biden laptop? She’ll be 100% there to get the fourth shot. And if it succeeds, she’ll praise that shot.
However, being on the spin squad for Joe Biden is tiring. With the Hunter Biden question, for which there’s no answer, it is even more difficult. Maybe she wants to keep it out of her mind and knows that Biden will be in trouble if she tells the truth.
