It’s not a question as to whether or not the powers that be in Big Tech lean to the left or right. You can see their hard-leftist tendencies on a daily basis. Recently, Twitter decided to show its bias to leftist narratives by suspending the account of RedState’s sister site PJ Media.
What has PJ Media done?
It was a scientific fact that Rachel Levine wasn’t a woman. In fact, he is a man.
The article that the tweet contained refused to accept Biden’s claim that Levine was the “first-ever female four-star admiral” of the U.S. Public Health Services (USPHS) Commissioned Corps.
“Even if you believe that gender is a social construct and subject to how one feels and not dependent on biology, sex chromosomes determine whether an individual is male or female,” wrote PJ Media’s Matt Margolis. “Rachel Levine is 100 percent male, right down to his DNA. He’s not a woman. He may have grown his hair out and changed his name to a woman’s name, but that doesn’t make him a female.”
The title of the piece, “Rachel Levine Is Not the ‘First Female Four-Star Admiral’ … Because He’s a Male,” appeared in the tweet promoting the piece and Twitter took action, suspending PJ Media’s account until it deletes the tweet and admits they violated Twitter’s TOS.
That’s not something PJ Media is willing to do.
They should not. Levine does not identify as a woman. Therefore, being penalized for saying such an obvious fact would be absurd. Yet, we continue to see this fact-denying behavior come from social media sites under the idea that allowing people to say that women can’t be men and men can’t be women will somehow trigger violence against the transgender community.
It is clear that the transcommunity triggers the most violence. At 41 percent, suicide attempts in the trans community are more than any other group. Transitioning via surgery increases that 19-fold. Even mainstream media has had to pay attention because of the regret surrounding transition surgery.
Gender dysphoria is a mental disorder, and while some people may be comfortable in that, the promotion of “gender fluidity” to everyone as normal is dangerous and irresponsible. No one is more responsible for violence than those pushing gender dysphoria on those who don’t have it.
Social media platforms like Twitter want to ban all talk about biological sex. They even censor actual biologists, who explain how transitioning men are still men.
This is the fight that society needs to wage. It should not be difficult to communicate factually, without being penalized. Without the fear of losing face, we should be free to discuss in public without being forced to.
Twitter is wrong here, and PJ Media should be supported openly as they stand firm against this ridiculous attempt by Twitter to parrot the “correct” narrative. Tell Twitter that you stand with PJ Media and that they’re wrong for censoring others they disagree with.
