The leaked draft of the United States Supreme Court’s opinion that seems to be headed towards being struck down has circulated since the news about it broke. Roe v. WadeDemocrats are currently trying to make federal legislation that codifies the killing of babies in the womb. Last week we witnessed the utter failure of one effort to do this in Senate when the legislation was known as Women’s Health Protection ActChuck Schumer wanted a vote to take place. It went down 51 to 49, as we reported. One Democrat, Senator Joe Manchin from West Virginia, voted with Republicans.
In parallel, the executive and state branches of government are considering what they should do when repealing the abortion law is implemented.
One such state lawmaker is Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt, who spoke about his state’s plans during an interview on “Fox News Sunday.”
Host Shannon Bream asked him about a new measure Stitt signed into law in Oklahoma, similar to the one in Texas, that would make criminally liable “anyone who attempts, completes or facilitates an abortion. This could be including someone who pays for one after a heartbeat is detected, roughly six weeks.”
She also pointed out that the law has no exceptions for cases of rape or incest, and wondered how he might address the situation of “a victim [who] may not know at six weeks that she is pregnant.”
Gov. Stitt said it like this:
First, I am very compassionate. That hardship and what it might be like for my girls, who are also daughters to me, is something I cannot imagine.
But you have to choose — that is a human being inside the womb. And we’re going to — we’re going to do everything we can to protect life and love both the mother and the child. And we don’t think that killing one to protect another is the right thing to do either.
Our heart is full of compassion for this. We want the churches, we want all the services, the state, the nonprofits to come around with adoption services and that is — that’s super, super hard. And we’re going to do everything we can to help them.
But aborting that child, we don’t think, is the right thing to do.
One false narrative that many pro-abortion advocates and their media cohorts try to spread is that Republicans only care about babies before they’re born — but couldn’t care less about any of the potential financial straits of raising a child, when a woman chooses not to have an abortion.
Bream rattled some Oklahoma stats as a preface for a question regarding that narrative on Sunday.
Oklahoma ranks 42nd for child welfare, with 21.3 per cent of the children living below the poverty line.
Then, she asked him questions about his life. Washington Post op-ed article titled, “The GOP Roars About Abortion, Then They Abandon the Children,” and solicited what Oklahoma might do to help women who they’re “advising to carry through on these pregnancies, when they are up against some real challenges.”
The Socialist Democrats use stats like poverty rates to support their moral argument that unborn children should be killed.
God’s plan is for everyone, but I am certain.
Oklahoma should be ranked among the Top Ten. The plan does not include killing unborn babies. pic.twitter.com/xIvE5BR58O

The governor didn’t mince words about the immorality and sheer dishonesty of the leftist tactic.
Well, I mean, here’s the deal. What is the solution to the socialist Democrat’s inability to have poor children aborted? I mean, that’s just ridiculous to even kind of quote those types of stats.
Oklahoma is a market-free state. Oklahoma has a free market. We believe God has a plan for each child and life. Oklahomans should have equal opportunities. It is wrong to abort a child.
As we reported earlier on Sunday, like Biden remarks at the White House and governors across the country, set aside in honor of the fallen law enforcement officers
Peace Officers Memorial Day
Today, I’ve ordered all flags on State property lowered to half-staff for Peace Officers Memorial Day.
May those who made the ultimate sacrifice never be forgotten.
As Governor, I will always stand with those who protect and hold that thin blue line.
Today I have ordered that all State flags be reduced to half-staff in honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day.
All those who gave their lives for the cause of humanity should never be forgotten.
As governor, I stand by those who defend and maintain that thin blue line.https://t.co/vjNs6xneP1
