As Democrats from Capitol Hill to California have ignored — if not cheered on — the Biden Border Crisis™ from Day One, it’s been a “slightly” different story in Washington, D.C., and New York City of late, as Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott began to send busloads full of illegal aliens into both cities.
Let’s just say the hypocritical histrionics have been hilarious.
As we reported on Saturday, Democrats haven’t given a damn about southern border states being flooded by illegals, and the danger many have posed to the population of affected states. Abbott being Abbott, I can only say with complete respect that he determined to give the Democrats a lesson.
As my colleague Nick Arama noted in the aforementioned article, Abbott called NYC an “ideal destination” because, like the nation’s capital, NYC is a so-called “sanctuary city.”
It is my hope [NYC Mayor Eric Adams]Follows through with his commitment to welcoming all migrants, so that overcrowded and overwhelmed border communities can receive relief.
As the Texas governor wryly suggests, Adams tried to do exactly that on Sunday morning: openly welcome illegal aliens into the Big Apple.
Only one problem.
By the time Adams arrived at the scene of his planned publicity stunt, Midtown’s Port Authority Bus Terminal, most of the illegals had already skedaddled. Even more humiliating, it was the embattled mayor himself who suggested, as reported by The New York Post, that the vast majority had skipped upon arrival, likely due to “fear,” he said, of violent crime in America’s once-greatest city.
The Post reported that it witnessed a heated discussion between Adams and the organizers for the event at 7:00 AM.
We were lead to believe that approximately 40 people ought to have taken the bus. We were only able to get 14 people off the bus. And we are concerned about that because we don’t want people being dropped off [just] anywhere.
Are you referring to every border town in Arizona and Texas, Mr. Mayor. Oder, Biden sending government planeloads full of illegals through the county at night and not informing state officials or local officials?
“We’ve got to work together — we’re not on different sides here, we have to work together,” Adams told an unidentified woman, who abruptly turned and walked off, said the Post.
This is even more funny.
Adams complained about the lack of communication from Abbott, who has been shipping illegal migrants to Democrat regions to ease what he aptly calls a “crisis caused” by “open border policies.”
They’re not letting us know when the buses are leaving. They’re not letting us know what are the needs of the people on the bus. They are not giving us any information so we’re unable to really provide the service to people en route. That information would be helpful.
This is a profound example of hypocrisy. As I referenced earlier, Biden has routinely shipped–unannounced– planeloads of illegals across America. We reported that the Florida Governor’s Office had sent illegal immigrants to Florida in unannounced flights, and we were able to verify this information. Ron DeSantis confirmed more than 70 flights of illegal aliens, from the southern border to Jacksonville, had landed “in the dark of night” in recent months — with zero warning to Florida officials. Similar flights are frequent to New York City and other states.
This is even hypocriticaler.
Eric Adams, a New York Post reporter was asked by The New York Post whether he plans or has already asked Biden or other federal agencies to modify the open-border policy to end illegal crossers entering the United States. “Shockingly,” Adams said he has no interest in doing so.
No. As the mayor of the city of New York, I don’t weigh into immigration issues, or border issues — I have to provide services for families that are here. I’m proud that this is a right-to-shelter state. That will not change.
Yeah, I got nothin’.
Bottom line:
Is it possible for a reasonable person to have intelligent conversations with leftists? They are especially hypocritical when spewing crap like what is described above. They need to be awareIs this hypocritical?
You can’t — they must be removed from office, one election at a time.
Is it possible they are crazy? No. No. Yes, absolutely.
