It has been 31 years since President George H.W. Bush died. Bush nominated Clarence Thomas as Supreme Court Justice, and media hated him since his first press conference. Rex Chapman (former NBA star and brief-lived CNN+ celebrity) attacked Thomas this week with a series tweets that implied he wasn’t actually black.
The English-speaking media aren’t interested in talking about Mayra, a Texas Republican congresswoman who was born in Mexico, today. Her Democrat opponent suggests she isn’t a true American. This would be something the media wouldn’t tolerate if they switched parties. Jorge Bonilla from MRC Latino talks about all things “LatinX”. To ingratiate with Democrats, he says Telemundo and Univision embrace all the liberal causes on the “pu-pu platter”.
