The network anchors gushed over Al Gore, ABC and NBC in a grueling round of softball Sunday interviews. Chuck Todd asked several simple questions, and ended up asking Al Gore whether he’d run again for president — twenty-four years after his last attempt. Gore compared “climate deniers” to the police who did nothing while children were shot dead in Uvalde, Texas, and Chuck Todd didn’t blink.
Todd actually moved on to make three false statements about how the American people are all on one side — the liberal side — on abortion, guns, and climate. It’s false. Meet the PressIt’s much more. The Press is your guide.
Jonathan Karl, a journalist for ABC, pressed Gore…from Left several times, suggesting that Biden was not strong enough to deal with the “climate crisis.”
There were also Liz Cheney interviews. Jake Tapper, CNN’s softball reporter, asked a number of questions regarding the January 6 Pelosi-picked panel. Then, in a second segment Jake Tapper highlighted how Cheney will likely lose her Wyoming congressional primary because she is for “the truth”. Tapper then asked Cheney if she’d run for president. This was, like Al Gore’s question, more of a joke than serious. When Liz Cheney is wildly unpopular among Republicans, which state would she win?
Fox at least Sunday News Bret Baier, host of the show, asked a surprising question. What do you think Hunter Biden’s family makes from their big money in communist China? Cheney said she wasn’t knowledgeable enough about the topic. Baier’s inquiry revealed that Cheney is obsessing about the past president while ignoring the present.
Stephen Colbert also expressed his love for January 6 Committee. You can listen to it below or elsewhere.
