CNN reported that Chris Cuomo had lied about the extent to which he was supporting his brother Andrew in trying to survive a wave sex harassment allegations. He was suspended indefinitely, but Brian Stelter already suggests it could be for a few months. A Christmas vacation.
The resignation of Gov. Cuomo resigned in August, the CNN host claimed “I’m not an advisor, I’m a brother. My role was not to control anything. I was there to listen and offer my take, and my advice to my brother was simple and consistent.” But the documents show Chris was an aggressive adviser, bullying Cuomo’s staff into taking his suggestions for what his brother should be saying. Chris parachuted into the room like he were New York’s best lawyer.
A governor could have had his adviser/brother say to him, “Have your thought about what your daughters will think?” Are you willing for this to happen at their workplace? He could have told him brother to treat women more well and grow up. Chris didn’t do that. These accusers were fought tooth and nail by Chris.
