New Media Conspiracy Drops Surrounding Trump Raid, This Time About ‘Surveillance Footage’ – Opinion

Depending on who you ask, Donald Trump is either in the clear following the FBI raid on his Florida home or he’s headed to the gallows. This should be enough to show you just how ridiculous the story is, thanks to the panic fueled by countless anonymous leaks that have been sent to the press.

Trump’s Esponianage Act investigation has left the Left with wild speculation that Trump might be an agent for Russia, or Saudi Arabia. No matter the fact that Hillary Clinton was investigated as well under this provision, and then-FBI Director. James Comey said that she would not be charged by any reasonable prosecutor. And while you’d think Trump should get the same treatment, you must be unaware of the “orange man bad” provision written into the nation’s laws.

Regardless of what the DOJ decides to do, though, the game here is the same one that’s been played for the last seven years. Trump is targeted by the government, who then leaks a torrent of unverified information to the media. The narrative about the wall closing in on us quickly becomes accepted. It’s so boring and predictable at this point.

The New York Times has just reported a new conspiracy theory. According to their “sources,” the FBI subpoenaed 60 days worth of surveillance footage from Mar-a-Lago. Why? Because Trump associates are allegedly shown in it.

Surveillance footage taken by Mar-a-Lago over 60 days was also requested by the Justice Department. The surveillance video included shots from outside of the storage room. According to a person briefed on the matter, the footage showed that, after one instance in which Justice Department officials were in contact with Mr. Trump’s team, boxes were moved in and out of the room.

Investigators were concerned about how the material was handled after this activity. It is not clear when precisely the footage was from during the lengthy back-and-forth between Justice Department officials and Mr. Trump’s advisers, or whether the subpoena to Mr. Trump seeking additional documents had already been issued.

Are you implying that I may be able to see boxes being moved from one storage area to another? This is it. Trump’s ashes are now in the hands of those who have started building the gallows. What could Trump do to defend himself against such clear evidence of wrongdoing.

Everyone sees what’s going on here. The Times headlines about the boxes being moved in hopes that its readers, and social media’s headline watchers, will believe it means Trump tried to hide his possessions. That can’t be true, though, given that the FBI showed up and the boxes were right where they were reported to be.

However, the main point is all in the innuendo. Almost every single Trump “bombshell” boils down to him doing something mundane and the press using leaks to make it sound nefarious. Besides, in this case, it’s obvious why the government subpoenaed the surveillance footage: They wanted to keep Trump from releasing it.

It would now be illegal for the former president to release any footage taken of the FBI’s ridiculous raid, showing them rifling through Melania Trump’s underwear drawer. What is this?

This is so exhausting. It is exhausting to keep repeating the same dance and song over and over again without anyone ever being held responsible. No one cares if some of the leaks are false. The mainstream media will continue to spread lies. FBI and DOJ seem hopelessly corrupt, and the mainstream media will protect the state at any cost. Although it feels impossible, certain individuals will continue to hold the power.
