Maryland state Delegate Neil Parrott is the projected winner of the crowded GOP primary in Maryland’s Sixth Congressional District, according to Decision Desk HQ.

Parrott had 64.9 percent support as per the EDT (at 10:30 PM) and an estimate of 43 percent.
Matthew Foldi, a former Washington Free Beacon reporter with 14.44 percent was the second-highest vote-getter. Donald Trump Jr., Maryland Governor, endorsed the 25-year old. Politico reports that Larry Hogan and House Majority leader Kevin McCarthy endorsed the 25-year-old. RedState’s Nick Arama wrote about Foldi’s candidacy in June.
Colt Black and Mariela Rocca were also candidates. Jonathan Jenkins and Robert Poissonnier are the other contenders. In the November general elections, Parrott will be competing against David Trone (Democratic Rep).
