On Tuesday, New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other sixteen other far-left members of Congress were arrested at a pro-abortion protest outside the Supreme Court. Footage online showed Ocasio-Cortez being escorted away from the Supreme Court while pretending to be in handcuffs. According to reports, law enforcement warned the leftist Congress members that they should not block traffic and they could be detained. But they ignored it.
All the evening newscasts from all three networks (ABC) World News Tonight, CBS Evening News & NBC Nightly News) ignored the story and instead fearmongered over “climate change”, and obsessed over local shark attacks. Fox News Channel’s anchor Bret Bailey was there and reported the story, which is a common occurrence.

Baier described how several Democratic lawmakers were arrested during protests near the U.S. Supreme Court. The Capitol Police had previously warned that they would arrest anyone who didn’t heed their warnings about traffic blocking.
Continuing his report, Baier noted that “among those arrested Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Alma Adams of North Carolina, and New York’s Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who appeared to be handcuffed but was not. They did not handcuff any lawmakers. The lawmakers were escorted off the premises. According to police, 17 legislators were taken into custody.
Two hours later, on Tucker Carlson Tonight, WMAL radio host and Daily Caller editorial director Vince Coglianese mocked Ocasio-Cortez for pretending she was being handcuffed as she was being escorted into custody by police.

Tucker Carlson asked Coglianese sarcastically: “can you believe Vince, they arrest her without handcuffs? It’s amazing how white supremacy in Washington D.C. is.
Coglianese had fun with the moment noting how “it’s remarkable, her demand to be mistreated was so great that she created invisible handcuffs for herself and then a moment later she raises her fist in solidarity with the crowd as if she’s some sort of brave civil rights activist, and then boom the hand goes right back behind the back again, back into the handcuffs like some sort of David Blain trick.”
