NBC Shocked Dave Chappelle Says ‘Gender is a Fact.’

There’s pearl clutching at NBC News because Dave Chappelle spoke heresy. In his new Netflix special, “The Closer,” the comic had the temerity to defend author and close observer of reality J.K. Rowling. Rowling is dead to the woke left because of what NBC’s Wilson Wong calls “past comments conflating sex with gender.” (The horror!)

Chappelle was the one who spread heresy. Wong spills the details.

“They canceled J.K. Rowling — my God. In effect, she claimed that gender was factual. “The trans community got so mad at her, —, and began calling her a Terf,” Chappelle stated. Chappelle refers to “transexclusionary radical feminists”, who view gender in a negative way.

He said, “I am team TERF. He added: “I’m team TERF. It is not a myth that gender matters.

It’s funny because it’s true.

But, according to Wong, “His comments drew a swift backlash.” The evidence for that backlash is … a tweet.

Yeah, that’s it. That’s some really compelling stuff. But Wong’s saga did draw a classic reaction from the invaluable David Burge:

Oh Wong made another complaint. He tweeted from an LGBT activists. “Nothing Dave Chappelle can change the facts about trans women are females, trans men men are men and nonbinary persons are nonbinary. This is why LGBTQ+ people need to live without discrimination. He is incorrect. Netflix has given him the ability to speak out loudly.

Dave, did you hear that? Netflix, did you get it? The Inquisition’s got your number.
