Nancy Pelosi appears to have much more than abortion and gun control. Hitting more closely to home, TMZ reports that the House Speaker’s husband has been arrested for driving under the influence.
Bail was set at $5,000 for the Napa incident. TMZ has all the details.
Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi, was arrested this weekend for DUI … TMZ has learned. The House Speaker’s spouse was arrested just before midnight Saturday night in Napa County, and then booked hours later into jail on two counts — driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content level of 0.08 or higher…both misdemeanors.
Paul Pelosi has reached 82, making it easy to ask where his life was spent drinking and driving. Why is he even driving? Someone of his age probably shouldn’t be, and besides, the Pelosi’s have gotten so fabulously rich off the back of government that you’d suppose he could afford to call an Uber.
Nancy Pelosi and her family have not yet acknowledged Nancy’s arrest. The booking docket showed the arrest. As TMZ notes, there’s also no word on whether the Speaker herself was with her husband at the time of the arrest. Given it’s Memorial Day weekend and Congress is in recess, it’s at least possible she was.
