The pen ink wasn’t even dry on the so-called Inflation Reduction Act that President Biden signed into law before MSNBC started hyping the legislation and praising the Democrats’ “marketing branding genius.” Moments after Biden signed the bill into law, on MSNBC’s Deadline for White House frequent MSNBC guest Maria Teresa Kumar gushed over how smart her party was for the name they chose for the law, despite the fact that it won’t actually lower inflation.
Guest host John Heilemann teed Kumar up by asking her if it was “worth the wait.” Heilemann bemoaned how “Build Back Better wait seemed to go on forever, the administration took on a fair amount of water over it. And then it finally got done.”
He then asked her to “talk about the substance of this bill and its value and also the politics and its potential value for Democrats.”
Kumar was overflowing with admiration for the new law, and its title:
Let’s get started with the name. Inflation Reduction Act is basically about what everyone’s currently concerned about, the kitchen table and checkbook items. This is what he tackles head-on. We often discuss how Democrats don’t make the best marketers. This is marketing branding genius.
The bill’s massive spending promises made her woo, and she seemed to be unable to comprehend how it will make inflation worse. “Coupled with The Chips Act and The American Recovery Act, this bill affords close to $500 billion in clean energy and clean tech.” She added how it’s “historic.”
According to Kumar, the bill appeals to every demographic group “making sure that corporations are paying their fair share. We’re talking about the youth vote when we bundle them together. We’re talking to independents and we’re talking to older voters.”
The left thinks that they can name the bill the “Inflation Reduction Act” and expect voters to believe inflation will be solved. According to the Congressional Budget Office, which claims not be partisan, it said that the bill has a very minimal impact on inflation.
False advertising isn’t “marketing branding genius,” it’s deception! The law should be called the “Inflation Enhancement Act.”
Progressive and Wayfair’s endorsement made it possible for MSNBC to groan about the Inflation Reduction Act. You can find their information linked to let you know what biased news they finance.

MSNBC’s Deadline for White House
August 16, 2022
Eastern at 4:05 p.m.JOHN HeILEMANN (MARIOTTE TERESA): Maria Teresa. Do you think it was worth the wait. The Build Back Better delay seemed like it went on for forever. It was so long that the administration had to drink a lot of water. It finally came to fruition. Discuss the content of this bill, its value, and the politics surrounding it.
MARIA TERESA KUMAR (English): Let’s begin with its name. Inflation Reduction Act is basically about what everyone’s currently concerned with, the kitchen table and checkbook items. This is what he tackles head-on. We often discuss how Democrats don’t make the best marketers. This is marketing branding genius. Let’s now get to the legislation.
The bill is a combination of The Chips Act & The American Recovery Act. It provides clean energy and tech funding in excess of $500 billion. This bill is historic by itself, but when combined with The Chips Act and The American Recovery Act it tells the American people what big bets Biden thinks we should make. It’s the future.
We’re now referring to Medicare prescription drugs. This is about getting older voters more engaged in the debate. It benefits them and, finally, corporate taxes.
It’s about ensuring that companies pay what they owe. This is how we talk to the youth vote. Independents are also being contacted. Older voters will be included. We know that it will be very close races in the most red states of the country, so we are going into the midterm. It’s a huge one for him.
