Joe Biden keeps insisting that he never discussed his son’s business with him. Yet we’ve noted in the past that Joe met with at least 14 of his son Hunter’s business associates.
Now, there’s a new report from the Daily Mail that adds yet another meeting and this one is raising even more eyebrows. Joe Biden met in July 2014 with Wanxiang executives, an energy company from China.
A client of Hunter’s company Seneca Global Advisors partnered with Wanxiang in 2012 on a $1.25billion natural gas plant in China.
The ceremony for the signing of the deal between Hunter’s client GreatPoint Energy and Wanxiang was attended by then Chinese vice president Xi Jinping.
Wanxiang, a large Chinese business, has partnered with North Korea for the construction of a huge copper mine.
Rosemont Seneca Partners was Hunter’s investment firm. He also made investments in Fisker (a car manufacturer) which was then bought by Wanxiang. Hunter was listed on the company’s filings as a creditor after it went bankrupt.
The price of one of their electric sports cars was $142,300.
The White House visitor logs indicate that Pin Ni, Wanxiang America President, met Joe on July 25, 2014.
Youhong Han, president of Wanxiang Resources Co. was present at the meeting. This meeting had been scheduled just a day earlier.
Joe Biden and the Wanxiang were met at the White House. Ni then offered Hunter his assistance in fixing Hunter’s Fisker. Fisker was owned by Wanxiang.
‘Last Friday when we visited DC, I heard that your Fisker is out of order and could not get serviced. Sorry,’ Ni wrote.
‘It would be our honor to get your Fisker fixed… I would like to give you a call to see what we could do as next step.
‘It would be our great honor to welcome you to visit Fisker or Wanxiang at any time.’
A Fisker car wasn’t the only kind of a car Hunter got connected to his business dealings.
In 2014, he also purchased a Porsche Panamera with $142,300. He was paid with money that Kenes Rakishev from Kazakhstan sent his company. Joe Biden met Rakishev in a restaurant called Cafe Milano in D.C., where he was joined by Hunter business associates. Joe even took their photo.

Rakishev’s payment is one of the things being looked at in the FBI investigation of Hunter Biden, according to one report that said witnesses were questioned by the grand jury about it. That’s one of the reasons that people believe the grand jury has been looking into the foreign connections.
But that wasn’t all. Josh Boswell who just reported on that story for the Daily Mail contacted Hunter Biden’s attorney to ask for comment. The response the lawyer sent back according to Boswell just may be the funniest response letters I’ve ever seen. This sounds like Hunter wrote it, and not one from the largest law firms in the nation.

I don’t know what was going on when the lawyer sent that, but I am very glad that the reporters’ parents “wouldn’t mount him” — whatever that means.
